    Acquired this as a dual gift...we married on Valentine's Day. My wife tends to be a little more conservative than myself, but tries to keep a sense of humor, something I've always had even in the face of adversity. She had a good laugh, loves it.

    Nice mug, nice job on the finish. Colored inside and out. I would not believe this is good for the microwave, though, but general use should be fine. There is a gold rim on the outer lip of the mug and along the handle, and a gold heart on the inside upper part of the mug, which is readily seen when the front of the mug is facing you. The lettering on the front of the mug is also gold. Uncertain if this gold is metal based, but best be cautious with both the mug and the microwave.

    Funny mug, good price. Must have a sense of humor. Recommend.

    We don't celebrate Valentine's Day for exactly the reason stated on this mug. I just had to get it for him and he thought it was great. It's a good size if you like big cups of coffee or tea.

    Got this more for decoration to sit on a desk but it is so cute and the colors are great! Funny and gift able for a girl to give another girl.

    The quality of the mug itself is great, but the metallic foiling does make it non-microwaveable (which I knew when ordering). The novelty of the wording is also great. But the quality of the wording/imagery is why I am only giving this mug 3 stars. The metal is sealed completely, but there appears to be imperfections, scratches, and almost fingerprints in the foil. I included a close-up image to show the foil a bit better - it reflects the lighting in the room, so as you can see, the foil is gold... not red/pink like the listing photos. There is a foil heart on the inside of the mug also (inset in my attached photo). And even if I wash/buff the mug, those fingerprint-like striations, color differences, and the digs in the foil remain as the mug was sealed that way. Because I plan to give this as a novelty/gag gift for a friend, I think it will serve my purposes as she dislikes Valentine's Day. But if I were seriously considering this for someone's practical use, I would probably choose a different option next time around.

    We never acknowledge valentine's day. There is nothing special or appealing about doing something on the same day as everyone else. I randomly stumbled upon this mug and have to purchase it right away. The mug is pretty and the graphics are clear and applied well. I do worry that someone may not notice the foil and pop this in the microwave, so I think a warning card should be included.

    I bought this for a girlfriend for Valentine’s Day. She has a very funny sense of humor and will appreciate how irreverent the mug is. I was really pleased when I open it. It’s a very nice mug.
