5.0 out of 5 stars Great eggs, no guesswork, easy to use

I have used this daily since I got it a couple weeks ago and I love it. I don't usually like "unitaskers" like this, but my kids love hard boiled eggs and I was looking for something that would be easy for them to use with no guesswork. So far it has cooked eggs perfectly every time as long as the directions are followed. My son forgot the step of puncturing the shell once and had a couple eggs that cracked during cooking (but were still edible). The eggs also peel a lot easier that using some other methods - fresh eggs peel just fine, and with older eggs the shell just slides off with no effort whatsoever. I have not used the poaching or omelet trays, so I can't comment on how it does with those.

This product may be little in size but it is mighty in producing a perfect egg. Hard boiled to perfection and the poached eggs are delicious and delightful. I've never been able to cook eggs correctly but this little gadget has solved that problem. Highly recommend this egg cooker. You can set it and forget it till the beeper sounds. Perfect eggs EVERY time no matter how you like them cooked. And as appliances go, it takes up hardly any room to store which is especially important for my current living situation.

Works as advertised. Decent little invention. Not necessarily faster than boiling eggs in water, but is less hassle and uses lots less water.

5.0 out of 5 stars Evoloop Egg Cooker - Great

This is an addition after using it many times. It's great! The buzzer isn't loud though so don't go far. Otherwise, the eggs come out so perfect it's hard to believe! And nice and yellow yolks, no green.
It's also compact so it fits in one of my cabinets when company comes. Try it!!

I ordered the Evoloop Rapid Egg Cooker in black which it's listed on the order page. The actual color that arrived is gray, which it says on the box it came in. Also I ordered the Egg Cooker on Oct. 9th. It arrived Oct. 30th. I decided to keep it rather than try to get another one. However I haven't tried it yet. It looks like decent plastic materials, and came with all accessories and undamaged in a box.
    Update:
I cooked 2 eggs last night in it and they came out perfect!! Were very easy to peel, and perfect yellow without the greenish ring that boiling can cause.

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy Peasy Hard "Boiled" Eggs
Reviewed in the United States on October 30, 2024
My youngest daughter LOVES hard boiled eggs and when we make some they seem to disappear way to fast for me to enjoy more often. I was at a family members house during a vacation 2 weeks ago and saw this egg cooker and that they loved using it. I saw how easy it was to make a half dozen eggs and decided to get one of these cookers as well - I bought one the day after returning home last week.

It comes with a tray to sit 6 eggs in or a larger tray to do more of an omlette as well as a couple of smaller cup/trays that you can poach eggs in. The design is pretty compact so you can store it just about anywhere, but we just leave it out on the counter as we use it about every 2 to 3 days so far. There is a measuring cup that will allow you to measure water using the number of eggs for soft, medium or hard boiled. The less eggs, the more water per each level of egg firmness (how well or much it is cooked). We pretty much run it 6 eggs at a time, every time. The measuring cup also has a little needle hidden away at the bottom of the measuring cup that allows you to puncture the egg shell to ensure it is cooked better.

When the eggs are done an alarm sounds until you turn it off. There is also an option to switch the power switch to a warming mode which works well. Usually we will put the eggs in a bowl of cold water after cooking them, but sometimes we eat them hot. Either way has turned out well for us.

So far the eggs have been perfectly cooked and better than the more traditional boiled in water method. We love this egg cooker. It is easy and awesome to use. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

This egg cooker works really well. I work in a tiny trailer office, and I'm a body builder, so I eat a lot of eggs.

Cooking eggs in a pot of boiling water isn't that difficult, but if I forget to start working on them about 30 minutes before I leave for work, then that morning is shot for having my hard boiled eggs.

I got this to put in my office at work, and it's a game changer. Now all I have to do is bring along my carton of eggs and I am set.

They come out perfect every time. I've already cooked about 48 eggs in this thing. I like it so much I bought a second one to keep at my house, I am not big on single-purpose appliances, but this thing has earned a big thumbs up from me.

NOTE: I tried to get fancy and steam some carrots in this, it worked great, except for one key thing, the sugars in the carrots dripped down on to the hotplate and started to caramelize, and then burn, creating an acrid smell in the air. (It was simple to clean up, but I don't recommend.)

Don't get too fancy with this and stick to cooking eggs only it and everything will be peachy.
