The rivet in my old pizza cutter finally had enough and broke. It was one of the junky pizza cutters with a smaller wheel and lots of slop. Garbage, really. I found a good deal on this Kitchen Aid cutter and couldn't be more please. The cutter is much larger and more sturdy than the old one, so I expect many years out of it. It looks very similar to the Gorilla Grips brand pizza cutter. Even though is larger, it's easy to hold if you have smaller hands. The safety guards (not that the wheel's razor sharp) can also serve as a thumb support to apply extra pressure, if needed. Good stuff.

It's inexpensive, cuts well, feels sturdy, and cleans up easily. I make pizza at least once a week, normally 2-3 pizzas at a time, so that's well over 100 a year. I found that when I did thicker deep dish or Detroit style pizzas, my old pizza cutter wasn't up to the task. It didn't "roll" as well and had a smaller diameter cutting wheel. This Kitchen Aid, with the 4" wheel works much better.

When we needed a pizza cutter, we got this one. Does it cut the pizza? Yes it does. Could it cut other stuff? Probably. We haven't tried yet...no wait. I just found out that my wife used it to cut homemade fruit leather. Add that one to the list--homemade fruit leather, pizza. Want to add more things to the list? Just roll this baby over the top. Cut cut cut.

Exactly as described and promised. Easy to made perfect clean sharp slices. Pizza shops never seem to slice all the way through on each cut and when using a plain kitchen knife half the cheese gets dragged along with the knife. NOT ANYMORE! Thanks to the best pizza slicer ever made! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND YOU TRY IT!!!
