I love these bags! We have ordered them several times and they work so good with our food saver storage system! They are a must if you use a lot of block cheese! I don’t think I’ve had cheese go bad since using these! Works great for freezer use too! A great idea to save money when buying meat in bulk and freezing!

These bags are a larger size, which accommodates, large roasts and family size portions of different items. I Seal bone broth that I have placed in a gallon bag and frozen. They fit neatly into these 11” x 16” bags.

Pros:
The larger size does a good job of saving family size meals, and portions
Sealing food keeps it fresher longer.
These bags are nice and thick
The seal around the sides and the bottom are very good

I wish I had purchased these bags sooner. I have been Making my own for years and never considered this vacuum seal bag, but I will always buy them from now on. Well made and thick bags seal properly in my sealer and stand the abuse we give our frozen foods in the freezer. Highly recommend them.

The quality is excellent. Bags are heavy and hold just the right amount for a lot of products for a 1 member household. I can purchase in quantity and freeze in 1 or 2 portions. Great for leftovers. Keeps food fresh

Really happy with these bags. They’re big and made of a thick material. I was previously making my own bags with a roll of vacuum bag material, but buying the premade bags is def the way to go. I’ve used them for sous vide and also for vacuum sealing leftovers for the freezer. All has worked well. I’m sold. Thanks.

I use a Seal a Meal to prep my steaks before I put them in the dishwasher (Yes, I said the dishwasher, which not only makes a great Sous Vide steak, you can also get a load of dishes done at the same time). In the past, the biggest hassle I’ve faced is making the bags off a roll. I was visiting a friend and was asked to show him how I make my steaks, which they’ve had before at my house. I never showed them how I prepped my steaks using the dishwasher. He pulled out a box already made WeVac bags that were perfectly sized and already sealed on one end. No cutting a bag off a roll and having to seal one end and then the other end!!!

As soon as I returned home I ordered a box of 100, 8”x12” bags and my order arrived within 2 days. They are heavy duty and worked perfectly. In case you’re wondering, after seasoning and dry-aging my steaks on a rack in the fridge for 3-5 days (flip them over twice a day), I put some melted butter and a clove of black garlic in the bag with the steak, seal them in the WeVac bag and put them on the lower rack in the dishwasher with a load of dishes (yes, with the dishwasher soap) I run a full cycle including the dry cycle. The steak comes out of my dishwasher at 125 degrees in the center.

I cut open the bag and pour the butter and steak juice in a small saucepan and keep it. Pat the steak dry all the way around and drop it right anway into a very hot cast iron skillet to sear on all sides for about a minute per side. I slice it up immediately (otherwise, you can find 50 videos on YouTube why you shouldn’t rest your steaks contrary to popular wisdom. It will just keep cooking if you rest it). Sprinkle a few grains of French Sel Gris sea salt on each slice and dribble on your butter/black garlic and steak juices that you retained the saucepan when you took the steak out of the bag.

You can save yourself a lot of time by dry aging any number of steaks together and then place each in an individual bag, pour in some of the butter and garlic sauce, seal up the bags and freeze them. The WeVac bags are heavy duty and the sauce also protects from freezer burn. When you’re ready to cook one (or more), pull it out of the freezer in the morning, leave in the bag and drop it into a pot of cold water for a few hours to thaw and then clean up the kitchen and run the dishwasher with the steak. Pull it out, sear it and serve.-:)
