Excellent product and at such a great price for what it is! This teapot is super easy to keep clean, the cord is nice and short which makes it easy to use, and it heats up water in just a few minutes. It is very durable and long lasting and the overall performance is terrific! The black color goes really well with any kitchen design and the teal adds a sweet color pop. The automatic shut off is extremely helpful for busy mornings. Highly recommend this teapot!

This is a very good electric kettle at its price range. I am reviewing this kettle after a month of use. So far I am very happy with this kettle because:

1. It boils water rapidly in 2-3 minutes depending on the amount of water in the kettle
2. It safely shuts off power after the water boils
3. It looks nice and well-built
4. The blue light makes it even looks nicer when it is running
5. The electric cord is thick, sturdy and 28 inch long; convenient for reaching to outlets
6. The glass pot is removable for pouring the hot water out or filling the cold water in
7. The lid of the pot opens fully and also has a strain for tea leaves if you decide to brew the tea inside the pot

I can't say much about the life and reliability of this kettle because of the short time of using it. But if I run into a problem, I will update this review.

I like tea so when the moment strikes... Boils quickly, holds more water than I usually need, one button to get it done, only needs a wipe down to clean the outside, build is nice for what it is and what it does and it was very low cost! Easy peasy lemon squeezy... in my tea.

This is probably my 6th electric tea kettle as I did not discover their perfection until later in life.
I do prefer one with temperature controls but alas, that isn’t in the budget right now.
This has a large capacity and works well.
I like the cool touch plastic casing feature.
The pour spout is where I see the only issue, it does like to dribble and spill a little bit.
But I can live with that.
The min/max lines are only inside the kettle, so just be aware.
Love how shiny and black it is on the counter. Like it’s a part of the darth Vader collection. ;)

I have purchased larger electric kettles in the past and a have found that they don’t last. This one is perfect for my needs and the price is exceptional! It holds just over 4 cups of water, heats quickly and looks great on the counter. The base is a little light but it works without issue. I particularly like that it is easy on my wrist when holding the kettle. It’s a little more awkward to pour water into the kettle than my old one as the lid doesn’t open to a complete 90 degree angle but still not a problem overall. I also like that it uses less amps than most kettles which means that if you have several kitchen counter appliances on same circuit, it is less likely to trip the GFCI.

I really loved the Elite Gourmet EKT1821 Kettle and am thoroughly impressed with its performance and design.

I bought this for my son's dorm room, I wanted something that would not break if dropped like glass, but also would be cool to the touch on the outside unlike metal. This was perfect in both of those ways. It also needed to have a stainless steel interior because heating water in plastic is not healthy. Again, this one checks that box. It heats up quickly and works perfectly just as it should. It holds enough water that he doesn't have to keep refilling it. It's also a very good price and easy on Mom's wallet. Great buy
