I bought several table cloths mostly cloth and disposable plastic. I plan to use them for our main dining table. This is the only vinyl one that I bought and the back is somewhat reinforced. I like it because it is more durable than disposable and cloth. We can easily wipe it clean meaning that it can stay on the table longer between deeper cleaning. I anticipate that the disposable ones will last one to three uses, the cloth table covers 2-7 uses and vinyl one to two weeks at a time.
This tablecloth has a soft underside and a vinyl feel on top. I like that the pattern matches the pillows in my living room and the picture on my wall. It is long enough for my dining table that seats 8 people.

Here's what you need to know.
#1 - the tablecloth has a very bad chemical odor.
I had to launder this tablecloth three consecutive times to get the odor out and then hang it outside for 48 hours.
#2- the tablecloth has no traction ... It slips and slides.
I had to put a mesh rug gripper underneath it to keep it from sliding.
I realize my cat is causing the tablecloth to slide every time she jumps on the table but my point is, if you have toddlers, this is something you should consider because accidents happen.
My suggestion is to get something more expensive that doesn't stink nor slide.
UPDATE/EDIT:
Puncture holes all over the tablecloth from my cat's claws.
This cloth is cheap, plain and simple. I don't recommend it. Period.
