I'm at an age where using the traditional manual can opener is getting more and more difficult due to severe osteoarthritis in my hands. I resisted getting an electric can opener as long as I could, but finally gave in to temptation. Should have done this sooner! The color is perfect for my kitchen (I'm using navy blue with touches of yellow and orange), and it works even better than I'd hoped. Easy to load a can into the opener, and easy to retrieve the opened can when the opener is finished. Love it! I've been using it 2-3 times a week for the past 2 months, with no sign of wear. Easy to clean, too. I haven't tried the built-in knife sharpener yet (I use mostly ceramic knifes), so can't say too much about that. But as a can opener, it's worth every penny!

It works well - the can opening is very easy to use and I have arthritic hands. A couple of minor beefs: the little pads come off the feet fairly easily. I've had to reapply them a couple of times. Plus with a heavy tall can, it's prone to tip & needs to be held upright. But it's a good can opener for the cost, does open the cans very easily, and I liked that it was available in white.

I haven't tried using this to power my bicycle, or cut down trees, but it opens cans beautifully. Small counter footprint. Cool retro color. Really opens cans that my other manual can openers have difficulty with. Does not work well as a teleporter.

I purchased the green one which matches some of the green glass tile in my back splash. It arrived promptly, is easy to use and the price was about in the middle of all the ones I saw. I chose this one because of its color and the posted reviews. After my ergonomically correct hand held one broke after many, many years of use, I went back to electric now that I'm dealing with arthritis in my hands. I do like that it's smaller than ones from years past so it takes up less counter space. I have also used the built in knife sharpener and that too does a great job. I highly recommend this electric can opener and knife sharpener. As to how long it lasts, that remains to be seen, as I only bought mine a couple of weeks ago.

We love this BELLA Electric Can Opener and Knife Sharpener. We use it mainly for those two purposes even though you can open bottles with it too if you like. The magnet that holds onto the lid right after opening a can is quite an excellent little useful feature. Easily storable on a shelf in the kitchen or somewhere close by, it's always available when needed. Just pull out the cord, plug it in and away you go! A bit challenging to clean but any device like this is. the little blade is easy to get to though, so you shouldn't have any issues with it. Very reliable and we just love it, thanks so much!!

Works fine with cans that have 2 & 3/4" lids, but not with cans having 3 & 7/8" lids. It uses a non-standard cutter head design ( it is triangular instead of the sharp wheel type as you typically see on hand held manual can openers) to penetrate the lid top. The cut lid ends up looking like a multi-edged polygon, not perfectly circular. If the small can has a flat edge (i.e. as from a drop on the floor) at the lid lip , the opener will not cut through the straight edge, it just stops. If I buy another electric opener, I will be looking for one having the classic sharp circular cutting wheel.

I liked the color as that is the accent in our kitchen. It’s a challenge getting the can to lick in however once t does it works fine until it’s time to release the can.
