These spoons are a great value! Nice and sturdy and the finish is nice. The design is simple and elegant. They are definitely tablespoon size not teaspoons. I wish there were matching teaspoons available.

We are constantly misplacing or throwing away forks. Sometimes you have to wonder if they sprout legs and walk out the door. We decided to try Amazon's forks. Amazon has good products that tend to last. These forks have multiple designs, we chose the smooth. They have some weight which is nice. They have no discoloration after running through the dishwasher. Fir a set of 12 forks this is good price.

These forks fit right in with the pattern I have in my home. Nicely priced and useful for family and guests. Just wash by hand or in the dish washer for like new appearance. Good quality for an easy price!

After 10 months of using Amazon Basics stainless steel forks, I have an overall positive opinion of the cutlery. On the plus side, I personally appreciate the 8-inch/20 cm. length. The tines comprise 2 inches / 5 cm. of the overall length, which makes the fork good for stabbing a nice chunk of steak, a new potato, or a Brussels sprout. It can easily be gripped and turned sideways to cut off a bite from a slice of pie. The heavy weight of the fork also appeals to me. These forks are sturdy and will not bend, no matter how much pressure is applied. While not elegant, the fork is reasonably attractive. Our family uses them as back-up when all our other cutlery is in the dishwasher, and we haven’t yet gotten around to running the machine. The Amazon Basics forks also do fine in the dishwasher and have shown no adverse effects from mechanical washing.

On the negative side, as one might expect from a “basic” fork, it is clear that they have been cut from sheet metal before being contoured and finished. Unlike more expensive forks, the corners at the edges of the handle and the tines are 90-degree angles. The edges are not sharp; however by comparison, the slightly rounded edges on the handles of less basic cutlery offer distinctly more comfort when holding the fork in one’s hand than is true of the Amazon Basics fork. Similarly, the slightly rounded corners on the tines of more expensive cutlery make it easier to cleanly remove food than is true of the Amazon Basics implement. The Chinese manufacturer advises against leaving these forks immersed in water for an extended length of time. As a lazy dishwasher who sometimes likes to let things soak before washing them or transferring them to the dishwasher, I find this restriction disappointing, but overall it is a minor inconvenience.

In summary, the Amazon Basics stainless steel fork is a good value for the price. Its functionality, durability and sturdiness compensate for the fork’s utilitarian plainness and any slight discomfort when gripping the straight-cut edges of the handle.

I'm pleased with my purchase of these spoons. They're a great size - not too big, not too small. They're comfortable to hold and have a substantial weight to them. Based on this experience, I'd definitely consider buying other utensils like this in the future.

I wanted new silverware after having the same mismatched lot for the past 30 years. I bought this because I liked the look, but when I got it I found I loved it because of its weight and strength. Its been washed in a dishwasher at least 50 times in the past 3 months and no problems at all. In fact I bought a 2nd set. so now I have 24 forks. and I'm glad I did. bought the matching teaspoons too, 2 sets.
