    I can tell that the design of the Tulavic remote microphones is superior, with its compact design and sleek magnetically closing charging case. I can fill this because my wife confiscated the Tulovic remote microphones before I got a chance to test them for range, sound quality, noise, canceling, latency, and ergonomics. She uses them as a Live Listen accessory to allow her to pipe distant voices directly into the hearing aids that she uses. (She uses made for iPhone hearing aids, and these work well with Live Listen) I had to ask for them back from her in order to review them.

    The case design makes it easy to keep the microphones charged and the adapter for iPhone packaged alongside them. The case interior has a tan plush lining that keeps the microphones nestled cozily up against their charging pins. And it looks and feels nice. The case also has a numeric LED percent charge charging indicator that is visible only when the case is charging on a USB-C cable (which is not provided. It takes about three hours for 100% charge from empty).

    The microphones work extremely well. Each Lavalier mic has a strong spring clip to fasten it to a garment. The microphone appears to be most sensitive to nearby voices and insensitive to surrounding ambient sound. The sound quality is superior and the range has been tested up to 50 feet through interior building partitions. The link from Microphone to receiver is at 2.4 GHz which means that connection appears to be instantaneous, and latency is essentially undetectable. At those distances the connection is solid, and there’s no deterioration in sound quality. I suspect it would go a lot further on line of sight outdoors.

    Each microphone is controlled by a single multi-function button which must be pressed in various ways: one second to turn it on,
    (indicator light flashes green until connected, then blue.) Two seconds turns it off. A double click mutes the microphone and then another double click turns it back on again. A quick triple click cycles the reverb on and off, a feature which I did not use or test. The buttons and lights are reasonably easy to learn to use effectively, and are described in the usual instruction page with microscopic print size which is included in the box.

    Note that the microphones must each be powered off before placing in the case for charging. Note also that, although there are two microphones, they both are rendered to a single monaural channel inside the receiver. Both microphones can be active at once.

    In summary, like most Lavalier microphone kits, this takes a little bit of practice to get to use with facility. However, the sound quality, range, ease of use once practiced, and compact and convenient charging case, make this design a superior one.

With a single charge, I can use the microphones for a considerable amount of time, ensuring that I’m always ready to capture high-quality audio whenever inspiration strikes. On the side of the charge case it indicates the percentage of charge in the device.

    Lastly, I must mention the build quality of these microphones. They feel sturdy and durable, indicating that they are built to last. The compact size makes them incredibly portable, fitting easily into my bag or pocket for on-the-go recording.     I have been trying for almost an hour to get this thing to work. I can't get any sound out of it. I don't know what the blinking is on the case when it is charging and seems to stay at 80 percent. I have to remove my case to plug in the receiver and it stays red, I don't know if that is the problem or not, but it is solid and not blinking. The case is nice and Ilike that you can charge it in the case, but that is the only plus of it that I have found so far. I tried looking to see if it needed to be paired in the settings, but I can't connect it to anything in my blue tooth settings for it to connect to. This si no better than just using it with the speaker that icomes on my phone. The videos make it sound easy and the quality of the vaudio is good on the videos they use to promote it, but I don't see any reason to keep it since I can't get it to work.
