About this item

Adjustable height and width to fit most keyboards: Our universal keyboard stand is fully adjustable, allowing you to properly align your piano, DJ mixers, turntables, synths, and midi keyboards. Liquid Stands' keyboard stand is compatible with all major keyboard brands.
Play while seated or standing: What makes the Z style electric piano stand so versatile is its ability to adjust to both the musician's height and the piano's width. With this stand, users will have the option to make music while standing or while sitting on a bench, seat or stool.
Weight limit of 250 pounds for the heaviest keyboards: This stand's heavy-duty construction supports the heaviest musical instruments and gear. A Z-style stand offers more stability and is less likely to tip than common X-style stands. Great for use on stage, at home or in the studio.
Includes headphone hook and anchoring straps: Each keyboard stand includes four adjustable feet, anti-skid foam pads, and a headphone hook. Also included are two anchoring straps that attach the keyboard to the stand for extra stability and protection. Great for musicians on the road or kids just learning at home.
Easy to set up, transport, and adjust dimensions: The height of the stand adjusts between 22.5” and 33.5” (in 1.25” increments); the width adjusts between 22.5” and 33.5” (in 2” increments). Set up and break down takes less than one minute and your stand can be packed flat for transport to gigs.

Liquid cater to all the needs of the keys player. Shipped fast, arrived well packed, setup took 10 minutes and we were jamming 5 minutes after that. Good looking, stable and adjustable. Comes with a set of keyboard security straps. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great stand Great service

I recently purchased my first electronic keyboard, a Williams Allegra. I wanted something to practice on during my three or four months at a vacation home. I was a little surprised at how heavy the keyboard is so I knew I needed a substantial stand. There is limited space in the condo here, so I also wanted something that could be easily set up, taken down and stored.

I had heard that a Z style stand was a good choice and decided on the Liquid Stands model MS1078. When the stand arrived, I started assembly using the easy to follow instructions. However, the cross beam piece that holds the two legs together had a flaw and I could not get the second leg attached. The next morning, I sent a text message to the customer service number and received an immediate response. I explained the problem sent a photo and within minutes a replacement crossbeam was on its way.

I received the replacement today, along with some fun swag, as a thank you I guess, and finished assembly. I am very pleased with the unit. Features I like include the sturdiness, the ability to adjust height and width, and the ease of assembly or teardown. The headphone rack is also a plus. The stand seems perfect at a very reasonable price and I was totally blown away by the great service.

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy choice to buy a Liquid Stands keyboard stand

The Z style Keyboard Stand assembled very easily, and the parts all fit very well. The threaded parts, mostly knob type, had good fit. Very good assembly instructions included, along with owner contact information if you have a question. The stand is light weight so easily moved, yet sturdy enough for use. I'm a bit long legged but the stand adjusted to my height just fine. The safety straps are a great idea! I wouldn't hesitate to order with the confidence that this keyboard stand is an excellent choice. I may order a second one for my RV!

5.0 out of 5 stars Rock-solid, easy to put together, price is right. What more do you need to know?

I'd never heard of "Liquid Stands." But, I needed a two-tiered keyboard stand, my old no-name x-frame stand is both on it's last legs AND not compatible with anything, and above all I'm cheap. So I gave it a try.

I gotta say I'm impressed. This is solidly constructed. All the welds look good (as best you can tell through the powder coating), the fittings are, I think, brass,, so it all went together simply and easily. It's more adjustable than my old one (which was always a little too high) and less bulky to boot. Nice job Liquid Stands, whoever you are!

5.0 out of 5 stars Really great product

This was extremely easy to assemble. The directions are some of the best, with numbered pouches for each type of screw, making it easy to know which is to be used for what connection. My only small critique is that the pads to go on top of the stand to protect the keyboard were less clearly marked. There were four of them, and the picture seemed to only show two, so I put two on the middle of the strut, then realized that what I thought was the pad in the picture was in fact the gap between the two pads one is supposed to put on each top part. I know, a bit confusing to understand, and I don't think it is a big deal, but that would be my only recommendation for improvement, Otherwise I really like the look and feel; it is very sturdy; easy to adjust; and performs its function perfectly. While I did not know it at the time, it is nice to read the story about how this small business got started -- always nice to support business like this. Oh and the stickers -- my 7 year old daughter (for whom the stand was bought) is going to love them!

Super easy to assemble. As the product images with measurements show (thanks much for that by the way!) the stand doesn't take up any more space than absolutely necessary to do the job it needs to do. The only thing stopping me from a five-star rating is the set of plastic parts that I think are going to get brittle and break over the next couple of years. To bump this keyboard up into a truly premium category, replace the plastic cuff pieces, and maybe even the knobs, with something more like heavy duty rubber--something tough but flexible.
I think the stand is going to be more than adequate for the way I intend to use it. I wouldn't personally use it for gigging, though I can't claim to have much experience with that.
In my photos, I have my Roland fp30x digital piano on the stand. This is an 88 fully-weighted key unit. It weighs around 35 lb, so I can't claim to have tested the weight limits of this stand either.
I don't know why almost everyone positions their keyboards toward the back of the supports so that they're sticking out in front of the keyboard. I've never used stands that way, and this one seems perfectly stable and solid with the keyboard position at the front. An advantage of using it this way, besides looking a lot better, is that I have about 8" in the back between the keyboard and the wall where I'm planning to eventually lay a shelf board and a support or two for additional components.
I suspect the stand is going to slip around a little bit on this stone tile floor. Absolutely everything else slips around on it. So I'll probably be making some modifications to make it a bit stickier on the bottom. It would be fine on almost any other surface.
Has for keyboard movement, I don't experience any side to side or front to back swaying, but there is some small quick movement I would describe as vibration. This may be due partly to not having the stand legs spread widely enough. So, some experimentation might get rid of that entirely as well.... If it even bothers me.
My main motivation for getting this stand is that the Roland is a pretty tall keyboard--or thick, depending on how you look at it--so the keys tend to sit too high on most stands at their lowest setting. This stand more than solves that problem. I have it set at the 24 inch height and the tops of the keys are pretty much piano standard, maybe even a little bit lower, which I like.
The only remaining test is time, so we'll see how it holds up.

This stand is great! It was easy to assemble and fit our new Yamaha keyboard perfectly. I was able to easily adjust the height and length to fit the keyboard once I had it on there as well. It seems very sturdy and yet it's easy to move when necessary.
