I absolutely love the bass. Beautiful tone and some great EQ settings available right off the get-go. However, when I received mine, I could tell it had been sitting idle in a box somewhere for a while. Wood was dry, and my G wasn't resonating properly. Brought it in for a proper restore (an added $100 if cost is an issue), but they fixed the fret/string issue, oiled the neck, and the bass plays wonderfully. Sweet color and mother of pearl up the neck make for a nice aesthetic.
Battery pickups are nice, but DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CABLE PLUGGED IN, even when your amp is off, as it'll drain your battery in a matter of days.
I always wanted a mid-range Ibanez, and this does not disappoint. When properly cared for, this bass should treat you right. Coupled with a Zoom pedal you can get some really nice sounds from it! Hope y'all found this review helpful.
