Honestly, I originally ordered this ukulele because of the looks- it was an oddball that would fit in my collection rather nicely. I had pretty low expectations for sound quality and really thought it would make a good mantle piece, but boy was I blown away and it quickly became my favorite uke in my collection!
First of all, the look of it really is absolutely stunning! The glossy coat really makes the wood grain pop, and the unique sound hole and bridge really make it stand out from even my most expensive pieces. The sound of the instrument was totally unexpected and it plays beautifully! It holds it's tune very nicely, and the fretboard is super comfortable for a concert ukulele.
In all, I would highly recommend this ukulele over ones two or three times the price, you just can't get a better instrument! Not to mention, the case that it comes with is actually practical for traveling, and the strap and tuner are a nice bonus too.
