Really impressed with the quality of this American Player II Precision Bass from Fender. This is my first passive bass and I enjoy not worrying about a stupid 9v battery to power the active pickups and hope my bass makes noises today. This thing thumps and bumps with the best of them. It has a great paint job on it too. It almost look metallic in the pics, but sadly it is not in person. It's basically dark blue with a black burst effect in the middle. Looks great, sounds great, easy on the wallet, dependable. This thing is a winner.
The hardshell case it comes it is really nice. It looks like heavy duty ballistic plastic with some cool locks on the outside. The inside is plush and offers a massive compartment to store strings, straps, cables. Lots of room compared to a guitar case.
