5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic guitar

I had not purchased a guitar in over 15 yrs, due to the fact that every guitar designs I liked were extremely expensive. Thus was very skeptical due to the price of this guitar.
But the pictures were so good, I just couldn't pass this up.
Upon arrival, I discovered a fantastic piece of craftsmanship.
The baked design with glossy finish, is nothing less than beautiful.
The materials and electronics are good quality and sound great.
The strings obviously are not the best. But this guitar plays well and sounds amazing for this price. I will be making future purchases from this store.
Highly recommend for anyone.

5.0 out of 5 stars discouraging for beginners (EDIT)

(EDIT) ihave changed my rating to 5 stars.
The company sent a replacement guitar right away. the new unit i received was setup much better than the first, very playable. also the pots were tightened much better to the body.
and thank you amazon

out of the box this would be difficult to learn on without a good setup done on it. mine came with a lot of relief on the neck and the bridge saddles set almost to max height adjustment. the strings were so far above the fingerboard that no one would be comfortable playing it very long. maybe slide. the big thing on mine was, as mentioned by others, the tone and volume pots were quite loose. pulled the tone knob off and tightened the nut. pulled the volume knob and the stem came with it. thats a big problem. other than that....the thing looks great. the neck and fingerboard felt good. the fretwork could have better but were definitely playable. and the pickups sounded ok also so, for the money, i would have given it a five but for the volume pot issue and the horrendous setup.
I did not receive this item that I ordered from you. All I got was a random gift like rag doll thing sent to me in an envelope, very disappointed , plus lost money I paid for this I
5.0 out of 5 stars Great little guitar for the price

No flaws looks great plays great sounds great. I have bought several less than 100.00 guitars. Most are fairly good, this one excels tunes well plays great. I play it through a all amp with an overdrive button. Hard for me to stop and put it down. I have been a rock player since the 60's. I don't have a lot of time left at my age 76. It was nice to ad this guitar to my life at this low price. Mainly.play with the switch on the bridge pick up. I like lead sound it gives. Great sustain this one

4.0 out of 5 stars Really good beginner guitar or something to practice modding
Reviewed in the United States on May 19, 2023
I got this because I needed a beater guitar to practice on and not worry about my nicer guitars. I also got this to practice working on and modding my own stuff. But in all honesty, mine came out of the box just fine and ready to play. Well, outside of new strings of course. Holds tune. The stock pickups sound fine enough. Electronics work. And super light

Guys, it's 60 bucks. No, it doesn't sound like a Strat or Les Paul. It does the job.

3.0 out of 5 stars For the price, it's hard to beat, but...

This is my 2nd instrument from Ktaxon and so far I've learned that you will definitely have to work on it straight out the box, the truss rod hole was pretty scuffed up and it has one really high fret (21st fret)

Cons: the body has little swirl marks, the neck was extremely dry, and the truss rod hole is a bit beat up.
The bridge definitely needed to be balanced and the nut needed to be slotted, mine was poorly cut/slotted, but that is an easy fix.

However, there are pros to the price point.

Pros: The color is nice, pickups are not bad at all, it's super lightweight and somehow feels pretty sturdy.
Once everything is setup it sounds and plays fairly well. It looks nice (despite the swirl marks and truss rod hole damage) and after a setup it is usable as an "ok" practice guitar and/or wall art.

Definitely not bad for the price ????

5.0 out of 5 stars More than expected!
Reviewed in the United States on January 12, 2024
Guitar arrived today and it honestly surprised me. I am an old guy and don't get surprised easily, but this one got me. I was happy to see the action was nice and low and better than that it even sounds very good. I wasn't expecting it to be ready to play. I did just hydrate the fingerboard which was a little dry. I will change strings even though these seem fine. I just always restring all my guitars when they arrive whether an expensive Gibson or a very inexpensive guitar like this. No fret sprout and tuners seem fine too. At first i thought something was wrong with the electronics because no sound was coming from my amp. Then i realized my headphone was plugged in which mutes the amp. As soon as i unplugged the phones, i was amazed at how good this little guitar sounded and how easy it played. I recommend this guitar for anyone from beginners to pro's who want something to practice with and not have to worry about getting a scratch or whatever. Buy it!
