I bought this uke as a spare and a no-worry instrument to use to give lessons on. But i was instantly blown away with the look and feel of it. The abalone and tortoise-shell inlay and edging and the classy B on the headstock are all beautifully done. The sound of the uke is good and the items that come with it are both useful and nice quality. While the action was a bit high, that was easily corrected by swapping out the saddle for a lower rising one I saved from a “retired” knockaround uke. This is easily the best budget-line uke and package deal around. And my order arrived days before it was scheduled. Great deal, great company!

At this time, I will keep and continue to learn to play ukulele. When I ordered, I was not sure what to expect. Sound is great as well as overall look of Barcelona EN 500-C.
Still continue to tune and break in Aquila Supernylgut Strings.
