I bought this for my 6 year old who is wanting to learn and I myself fell in love with it. Very sturdy chair and stand. The keyboard also screws into the stands so that made me fell safe as well that it couldn’t easily fall over. The sound is great and it comes with headphones so he can have his private time at night since we live in an apartment. My son was so excited and he loves it, I can’t wait to here his progress with this. All around definitely worth the money I would recommend to anyone beginning.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great product for beginners

My husband and I have five children, we have gone through a number of musical instruments throughout their childhood and teenage years. Our last teenager has had many different ideas of what he would like to do as far as hobbies. He recently asked to learn how to play piano. With his birthday approaching so close fast after Christmas, we were not wanting to spend a lot of money on another hobby another one of our children may or may not like. We searched and this particular product popped up.

Pros-
Great price for everything you get.
Easy to put together
He has played it everyday this month, so it is of use in our house and not catching dust or clothes thrown over it!
He is a beginner so his father and I really enjoy the headphones that come with!!

Cons-

The microphone is light plastic and almost feels fake. there is no placement for it to be held on/up to the keyboard.

Other than that it is fantastic for the price. I just suggest you buy a new microphone which are still pretty inexpensive these days, and are of better quality.

I purchased this keyboard as an absolute beginner to learn to play on as an adult. Knowing I would have limited time to practice I was looking for an affordable option that would not break the bank. After reading other reviews this seemed to be a viable option so I pulled the trigger. So keep in mind that my review comes from the position of an absolute beginner and here are my thoughts...

This keyboard is a good option for a beginner to learn on before moving on to a more expensive option if you decide you do enjoy the hobby. The keyboard works exactly as advertised. Nothing more, nothing less. I do feel like anyone with experience playing on a nicer or professional keyboard would not enjoy playing on this one as the keys have a "toy like" feel and spring to them. But overall everything works as it should. I'm not overly blown away, but it gets the job done. I feel certain this will be all the keyboard I need to learn how to properly play music. With that said I will finish off with some pro's and con's.

Pro's:
-Comes with a fairly sturdy stand, nice seat, decent head phones and mic (have not used the mic)
-Lots of different options as far as instruments and backup beats to choose from
-Decent sounding speakers if you choose not to use the headphones
-Keys are easy to play and move freely
-Good beginner setup to learn on
-works as advertised
-items were well packaged

Con's:
-My biggest Con - DOES NOT COME WITH A 10v POWER ADAPTER. There IS a place to plug in a power adapter on the back of the keyboard yet it did NOT come with one in the box. I had to find one from another appliance I had around the house. Yes, you can use this keyboard with batteries but it did not come with those either. I feel like most people would rather plug it in then use batteries. My opinion would have been to leave the mic out and include a power adapter. I think more people would use the adapter then the mic.
-keys seem very toy like. They have a spring like feel to them and are a little noisy
-the music sheet holder sits in the rail very loosely so if you bump it at all it will fall off. Anything heavy falls off.
-when the instrument is set to standard piano, low keys sound fine but the high keys sound a little off, a little digital (no pun intended)
-the on/off button is like something off of an early 1980s toy. It is not a huge deal but it does seem like the one thing that is out of place

If they would have included a power adapter and the keys had just slightly better feel, I would have given 5 stars. In the end though I would recommend this for a beginner.

This is a good beginners bundle with everything you need to learn. Later on you may want to upgrade to a real piano or high quality electric keyboard though. I only wanted a basic instrument so this was great for me. I know how to read music and which notes are which on the keyboard so I didn't need (nor want) something to light up or play-along teaching. I probably will never even use the zillion sounds or rhythms available. I just wanted something to 'play' with and make music 'out of the box'. Stand is okay - stool is okay, headphones work, the music score stand is a bit flimsy and I've no clue about the microphone (I can't see myself singing for anyone any day soon, let alone sing along with playing. The AC adapter power source plugs in well. I'm not sure if/when, I'd tote the keyboard around or play it during a power outage so I can't tell you how it would work with batteries - but it probably would. I Have and play many instruments (only a couple of them well - and this is not one of those). I see just playing around with it, or composing or playing a tune on it to see how the tune goes before playing the tune on another instrument (I'm not so good at sight-reading on my favorite (other) instrument.

The price is very good for a person who does not plan to invest in a perfect sound, the sound of the keys resembles musical notes but I who have played piano for years did not feel that its sound was real
