    My daughter needed a recorder for school as she didn't wanna share one with other students. Super cute color matches description perfectly came with a carrying case and cleaning tool, she loves it. This item fits easily in her backpack. The description of the item is true, plastic material. Durability is strong as she is clumsy. Plays notes well. Easy to hold and carry.

    I ordered this for my 9yr old, her music teacher gave us parents the option that kids could borrow a used one from school or to buy them a new one from Amazon. I decided to buy a new one since it was pretty cheap! The quality is great and durable, it does it’s job well!

    I remembered my very first instrument (besides the kids keyboards) being a recorder, so I bought her a voice recorder and this kind of recorder. She's very musically inclined, which I love because her father and I are as well, and so we are very much wanting to encourage her as she wades into the musical arts. At the moment, it's more fun for her to just make noise with it, and I know that phase will pass when she realizes she can make actual music with it. I am hoping this will motivate her to seek out other instruments in the future and it was a sound purchase, and it's very pretty too!
