 This trumpet has a cost on the low end, but has high-quality features! I'm overly impressed with the quality! The kit comes complete with the full trumpet, a hard case, and a bag of accessories! I would recommend purchasing a mute if you are living in close quarters. This thing is LOUD! It has a perfect polish and a great tone. I highly recommend this for a beginner and intermediate trumpet. I'm not a trumpet expert, so I am unable to compare the quality to higher-end brands. I will say this is more than enough for an inspiring band member or daily player.

I play lead in a big band and our band leader thought it would be a fun idea to get green horns for our St. Patrick's day gig. So we went and found these. Cheap enough price considering we were only going to use it once (more than likely). I want to start off by saying that the horn is a nice horn. The green lacquer is well done. Really nice color. Playing wise it truly isn't terrible. The sound it produces is nice. It's pretty bright. Where it gets rough is intonation. Especially in the upper register. Now, for a beginner this probably wouldn't be a problem. So if your child (or you) want to dabble in trumpet without dishing $500+ for a "good" beginner horn then give it a shot. If you are a seasoned player you may have fun with it once and be done with it.

The trumpet looked good. It was lighter than other trumpets out there, and I had to actually get my other daughter to get her trumpet out so I could compare the size and weight. This is like 99% the size of her trumpet. That 1% I think is from this being made of lighter cheaper materials. That's really the only reason I give it a star.

The PROBLEM is that the valves were really stiff. No worries, there is no oil on it. I'll just oil it. But that DID NOT HELP. The middle valve would get pressed and stick. Even with copious amounts of oil. Unless that valve we in the exact 100% correct location it would jam. And since you have to remove the valves occasionally, it doesn't make sense for them to be near impossible to install.

In the end I returned this trumpet before it was played. It was supposed to be a replacement for a 10+ year old junk student model that has worked well for several years before having this same problem. This was supposed to be an upgrade, not a downgrade.

I WOULD NOT BUY THIS TRUMPET.

Definitely recommend this for beginner trumpet players. If I had to go through my son’s school I think it would be something like $300 a month. Since this is his first year playing the trumpet I decided to NOT rent when it’s so much cheaper to just buy it out right. Zero issues with the quality and sound.
