About this item

♫ WHY CARBON FIBER - Nova Go SP1 is made of carbon fiber composite material, which means it's impervious to temperature and humidity change. Taking it on travels, to chill on a beach with the hot bright sun up above, or to a hiking trip deep in a mountain, or even further to shoot some beautiful Instagram posts in a snow land, this Nova Go SP1 carbon fiber acoustic-electric guitar would stay stable, with no warp nor cracks. That's the definite edge of carbon fiber guitars.
♫ WHERE THINGS GET INTERESTING - The absolute differentiator of this guitar is that it’s equipped with the SP1 pickup system. It gets you reverb, delay, and fusion effects on your bare guitar, unplugged. No pedals nor amps are needed. There’s a little speaker inside the body of the guitar, which produces these effects sound, and it can be also used for music playback via Bluetooth.
♫ A PRODUCTIVITY WORKHORSE - SP1 pickup system not only allows you to have tons of fun unplugged. But if you plug it into an amp or PA, this Nova Go SP1 carbon fiber acoustic-electric guitar becomes a workhorse for you to gig with. What’s more, SP1 comes with USB On-The-Go connectivity. You can plug it directly into your phone or PC to record any creative ideas without needing an audio interface.
♫ SOLID BUILD & EASY TO PLAY - The body of this Nova Go SP1 carbon fiber acoustic-electric Guitarra is 1/2 sized (35 in.), molded all in one piece, meaning that the bridge is a cohesive part of the top, not glued upon like traditional acoustic guitars. It would never snap or fall off. Meanwhile, we've put a truss rod into the neck, giving your more adjustability for the string action, even though the factory setup is already optimum. Also, the Zero Fret feature is added for smoother tuning.
♫ PRACTICAL ACCESSORIES - This Nova Go SP1 acoustic-electric carbon fiber guitar comes with a gig bag, and the packaging is colorful and delicately designed. You can send it straight as a gift to someone you love or care about. A hexagon wrench is also included for you to adjust the string action. A USB Type-C cable is there to charge the pickup system, system update, and digital output. We’ve also included an instrument cable in the package.

5.0 out of 5 stars This guitar should not sound this GOOD!
Reviewed in the United States on June 9, 2023
I saw a YouTube video about this guitar. The reviewer is a down-to-earth guy, who is pretty blunt in his reviews. He liked it and that put the bee in my bonnet. Amazon ran a sale on it, so I had to try.

The body is small, but the neck feels like that of a full-sized guitar. Honestly, I was wondering if would be like trying to play a mandolin, but it's like a regular guitar. The sound is full. For a small, relatively thin guitar, it has a rich bass response and the sound is balanced. I've got some pretty serious acoustic guitars. This may not be in that league, but it's surprisingly good and better than some of my mid-range guitars that I would actually take out of the house.

The carbon fiber is pretty thick and feels durable. There's a lot of tone wood, bracing, grading of the spruce top, et al talk about acoustic guitars, but this thing sounds good. There are graphite and other carbon fiber guitars on the market, but at multiples of the cost of this guitar.

I love the look. Enya calls the color "blue," but as the photos show, it's more aqua or sea foam green—a PLUS in my book. The neck shape is comfortable to play. The neck had just the right amount of relief for no buzzing. You get a tool for adjusting the neck in case it needs help in the future.

The on-board effects are OK. It is cool to have reverb and other effects come out of a guitar that is not plugged in. I have played it thru' a guitar amp, but not thru' a PA. I downloaded the app and got it to pair with my phone thru' Bluetooth, but haven't experimented with it very much.

The action is playable, but I'd like it a little lower. Time to sand the bridge saddle, but I haven't done it yet. The case is different from what a lot of YouTube reviewers show. It's a soft shell gig bag with an eternal pocket. Instead of a single strap that could be removed and used as a guitar strap with included adapters, it's got two sewn-on straps for classic backpack carry. This case was aroma-free. Some reviewers said their cases reeked. The manual says it comes with a leather strap. I got a woven one in a pukey color that isn't going on my aqua blue guitar. They are wise enough to add "subject to change" when listing the accessories.

I was intrigued by the innovations that this guitar offered. I also got it for its size, weight and durability as a travel guitar. It has not disappointed in any of these areas. But it is the sound that is truly amazing from this little powerhouse. I certainly didn't need another guitar, but I'm glad I got this one. It's useful and unique.

5.0 out of 5 stars Can’t believe I waited to long to grab one!!!

I've had this guitar in and out of my Amazon cart for about six months, and I finally took the plunge! As an avid hobby musician with a few great guitars and ukuleles in my collection, I've always loved playing acoustic the most—but I’m not always in the mood to pull out my traditional box guitars. This one is fantastic right out of the box, which is surprising at this price point, where you usually expect to put in a little work to make it truly enjoyable to play. But this guitar? It’s perfect from the start.

The build is solid, and while it’s not a traditional wood instrument, it has a nice weight and feels like a professional guitar. The action is great, the frets are smooth and even, and the tuners are solid (though I might switch them out for locking tuners, just as a personal preference). I've had it for about a week, and I'm considering trying a heavier gauge string set to see if I can get a deeper tone, but that’s just me being curious.

The onboard electronics work as advertised—not a loud amp sound, but it does a nice job of enhancing your tone, making it fuller and richer. The effects are just okay, but they could be fun for a beginner to experiment with. When plugged into my amps, it sounds great—no feedback, no crackle.

Overall, I really love this guitar. I can already see it becoming my go-to for practice between Zoom calls or for taking on trips. The reviews were spot on—whether you’re a beginner or have been playing for decades, this is the perfect addition to your collection!

First off.. I am a self taught player and have more guitars than my skill deserves.

I have been searching for a a travel guitar for a long time but after trying several decided that it was not worth the effort. The I saw the Youtube reviews of this guitar and became interested again. I purchased the electrified version in black and when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised by the finish of this guitar. It's visually appealing and played very well right out of the box. The acoustic tone is obviously different than a full sized guitar but quickly becomes appealing. Does it need some setup? Yes. But it has a truss rod and the bridge can be lowered. Just take it to a decent luthier.

Now as silly as it seems... the "gimmicks" of this guitar are truly inspiring. As said before... even if you only play it acoustically its actually a fun and beautiful instrument. Th short scale only takes a short time to get used to and actually makes it easier to reach certain chords with a fourth finger. It has a nice resonance and its light and durable.

The electric effects are also very cool and I found them inspiring. When added to the acoustic sound, they are impressive.

The only reason I gave less than 5 stars is because of a very minor issue at this time. Unfortunately, the USB "direct-in" mode does not work at this time for Mac users, and (i have heard) "may" work for windows users with a firmware patch. Contact Enya Music if this affects you.

All in all, its a great guitar and a joy to play. Well done, Enya Music.
