    My line 6 catalyst amp requires IOS software to configure the effects. It as a USB type b port like that old printers. This cable worked great and I was up and running a few minutes after it arrive. Good price also!

    I bought this cable to connect my iPhone/iPad to my Yamaha P125 digital piano so that I can use the Yamaha SmartPianist app. It works great for this purpose. The app can analyze songs in your music library to create chord sheets so you can play along. It can also help you record and transcribe your own ideas for audio/WAV and MIDI output. The cable does exactly what I hoped it would do. I haven’t had it long so I can’t attest to durability, but it works for the purpose I wanted it for.

    I don’t know why it doesn’t recognize the printer through this cable. I couldn’t print. I’m not saying it doesn’t work but it didn’t for me.

    I thought I'd try this inexpensive cable before going with the expensive solution provided by Apple for connecting my new keyboard to my iPad and I'm glad I did. I'm using a Yamaha P-71B with an iPad mini.
