5.0 out of 5 stars Great for beginners/intermediate beginners.
Reviewed in the United States on December 13, 2023
I've been taking piano classes at my local community college for the past year, equivalent to a level 1 and 2 class. At home, I would practice with this keyboard I had for around 5 years that had great sound, a handful of interesting midi sounds, but abysmal keys with no resistance. It isn't something you would notice or care about just starting with piano, but after 6 months I noticed just how much more comfortable and better playing on the more expensive keyboards and actual pianos at my school felt—I also DESPERATELY needed a pedal. So I set out to find a keyboard that would suit my wants and needs: something that just had fully weighted keys, had good sound quality, and had a good looking stand—I didn't want an X-style stand like I had before.

The keys: The keys are great. They feel pretty much as weighted as the Yamaha keyboards we use in my class. They still feel different from acoustic/grand pianos, but pretty good.

The sound: To be honest...I really wasn't expecting the sound to be kind of mediocre. My previous keyboard, The One Light light-weighted keyboard, has a pretty decent sound quality. I'm not too experience with pianos, but I wouldn't say it was any worse than the Yamaha I use in class. This one...it's not too bad, but it has a very definite digital-sounding feel to it. I noticed it immediately when I used it and immediately assumed it was because of some button that was accidentally turned on. Nope. That's the default state. I got used to it after using it for a bit, but I wouldn't put the sound high on the list. It makes me wonder what the other reviewers were hearing, since part of the reason why I got this is because the reviews said it had good sound quality.

The build: the keys don't feel cheap, though whether they are or not isn't really an indicator of that. The body of the keyboard mixes between thin and hardened plastic—the thin plastic parts don't feel cheap but they don't feel not cheap, you know? The stand itself is made of wood and is fairly easy to put together and should be pain free for those unexperienced with building things like this.

Overall, if you really want something with fully weighted keys, 88 keys, a slightly fancier stand, that comes with the three pedal attachments, then this is a pretty good option. I ultimately chose this one because I was eyeing the Yamaha keyboards when they were out of my price range. This one felt like a good compromise between price and quality, and I wouldn't say that the quality is bad at all. Some of these problems just feel like ones that will be fixed as soon as you get a more expensive keyboard.

5.0 out of 5 stars Surpassed expectation, great quality
Reviewed in the United States on September 21, 2023
I am very pleased with my purchase. At first, I was unsure if the product would meet my expectations. Surprisingly, it did! I had played a Yamaha and a Steinway pianos. When I ordered this product, I didn't expect that it would meet the quality of Yamaha but it was close. Even though this product doesn't come from big-name brands such as Yamaha or Roland, it has great quality of sound. I already have a classical piano at home but I need a second piano keyboard, which allows me to control sound volume to practice at night. I also liked the weighted feel of the keyboard as well. It is very close to the real piano keyboard. Besides the practical aspect of this product, I also liked the aesthetic aspect of it. It has a simplistic look. I like the shape and finished look of the pedal. Control buttons are easy to maneuver and very self-explanatory.
I play piano at church during service and I play piano as a hobby, too. I am not a professional pianist, but I do play piano all the time. I highly recommend this product to beginner-level, intermediate-level, and advanced-level students or players, because it has great quality yet is not as overpriced as other big-name brand name products. Since I gained confidence in the product quality of this brand, I ordered another instrument a drum set-- too from this company.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great purchase for the money
Reviewed in the United States on July 9, 2024
This keyboard has the key feel and sound of a real piano. I was surprised how good of quality it is for this budget price point. It's not just for beginners! I purchased the version with the stand, headphones, and 3 pedals. Everything works great right out of the box. The stand is much better than the traditional "X" ones. However, the assembly directions for that are horrible. It took some trial and error to get the stand together correctly. The 4 rubber straps actually attach to the sides of the keyboard (2 on each side coming together like a "v" to one screw on the stand) to keep it from falling off. They are a big help to have on, once you figure out how to attach them. Pleased with my purchase.

4.0 out of 5 stars Weighted Keys with MIDI out for $300, that's all that matters.
Reviewed in the United States on November 9, 2023
TLDR, MIDI-capable weighted keys that produce a sound and don't immediately break, for $300. That's worthy of at least 4 stars.

Beyond the weighted keys, the rest of the piano and its features are relatively low-end to a professional, understandably so, for the price. The integrated speakers and sound banks are low-quality. The build-quality of the plastic keyboard body and minimal wood stand, while sturdy and serviceable enough, feel a little cheap.

Despite all that, for an at-home piano, I still see this as a pretty sweet product for the price. Beginners probably don't care about the sound quality, and professionals can just midi-out into their computer for much better sound banks.

For what this thing sets out to do, it does well. Cheap access to the full experience of piano keys, with the ability to make it sound *really* good with the help of a computer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great starter piano with all the features that I think are important
Reviewed in the United States on January 25, 2024
This piano is great. This had all the features that I wanted for a entry piano. Touch sensitive. Full 88 key. The sound / speaker is good. You can practice fine as is. It also has headphone jacks so can practice quietly. Foot pedal that feels better than the plastic ones out there. For the price point you can't beat it.

5.0 out of 5 stars SHOCKED HOW GOOD THIS IS FOR THE $$
Reviewed in the United States on December 7, 2024
Just got the keyboard today. It is a Christmas gift for my adult kid who just needs a regular piano but doesn't have the $$ or the space. I was pretty skeptical but ordered this based on some other reviews. I have to say...SHOCKED at the piano sound this keyboard has. The weighted keys were actually GOOD feel to them. (I'm very picky about the feel of the keys.) And it has lots of other options that I didn't even know about. Comes with everything but the stand. Super glad we ordered this. Good keyboard for the $$, too. FALALALALALALALALAAAAAAAAA
