5.0 out of 5 stars Great working and looking cymbals

These cymbals are a great addition to round out the extra cymbals on my Roland TD50X kit. I bought 4 cymbals total, two of the 15” for crashes, one 13” and the 9”splash. All work and sound really good. I use the 13 as a china and of course the 9 as a splash. They feel really good to hit. Highly recommended!

5.0 out of 5 stars No issues after a couple years of use

I've never had to think about it or adjust anything about the how I play it which is the best possible outcome, works flawlessly. And for the price it makes it even more attractive.

The only thing is that it you're using it with an alesis strike then the bell and edge is switched so you have to set your edge sounds to the bell and the bell sounds to the edge but that's no big deal.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Quality & Performance for the Price

Love how this cymbal feels, and really like that it’s larger than what most eKits provide for their ride cymbal.

The price is right for how responsive it is!

This cymbal can be setup as a 2 zone crash, or 3 zone ride. By unscrewing the plate covering the 3/4” jacks, you can simply move the pop out connector from one jack to the other to adjust this.

Other than that, this cymbal was an excellent budget replacement for my Alesis ride cymbal on my Strike Pro SE kit.

Works perfectly with my Alesis strata prime kit. Maybe a touch noisier but nothing too bad.

5.0 out of 5 stars Almost as good as Roland Cymbals!
Reviewed in the United States on July 26, 2023
I bought four Lemon cymbals about a month ago. One 18' ride, two 15" crash/rides and a 9" splash. I did a lot of research and saw a lot of very good reviews. I can verify that these are just as good as my Roland CY -15R and CY-14 cymbals. The rubber is a bit harder, and they are a bit thicker. Because of this they are a bit louder than the Roland cymbals. The triggering on the Lemon cymbals is just as good as the Roland's. You can't beat these cymbals for the money. Time will tell how durable they are, but if they last even 5 years they will be well worth the money!
    Update
I have had these cymbals for two months now and still believe they are a great value for the money. I recently bought a Roland TD-50X drum module with the digital hi hat, ride and snare. The digital ride is amazing and much better than the Lemon, but it cost nearly 4 times more. The only issue I have with the Lemon ride is the bell is small and it has a hot spot right in the center of the bell, straight down from the logo. I turned the ride a bit to the left to move the hot spot to the right and away from where I am hitting the bell. Basically, the Lemon logo sits left of center as I tend to hit the left side of the bell. If you hit the right side of the bell then reverse the logo to the right and that should help with the hot spot. I moved the 18" Lemon to the left side of my kit and use it as a two zone crash/ride. The Lemon cymbals are a bit hotter (more sensitive) than the Roland's so I have turned the sensitivity down in my module. Great cymbals for the money and they blend well with the Roland cymbals!

5.0 out of 5 stars Works Great on Roland TD-6V
Reviewed in the United States on July 21, 2024
Bought this to finally add a proper ride to my Roland kit. Works exactly as advertised, and build quality on mine seems great.
Yes - it’s a little noisier than my Roland cymbals - but only on the bell, and even there it’s not much difference.
Mine came configured as a ride only (using as 2-zone, sounded bell only no matter where I struck), so I did the internal cable swap and it came up perfect 2-zone, choke works flawlessly. Just look for ‘lemon cymbal cable swap’ on YouTube- it’s very simple and easy.

Will update after breaking it in for a few months, or if it experiences any anomalies before then, but I’m seriously eyeing one of their splashes next!
Would I recommend? Yes - can’t go wrong for this price and build quality.
Mine came shipped with plenty of padding.

  • TIMMY!!
5.0 out of 5 stars Well worth money, basically plug and play w/Roland TD-17
Reviewed in the United States on November 10, 2022
Love it and what a name for a great cymbal!!!

As reviewers state on YouTube and written online reviews, this is no lemon, and I love it. Out of the box Thursday, November 10, 2022, choke works flawlessly, bell works better than my TD-17 KVX CY-13R and much easier to 'find/hit', and crashes perfectly. A little hot spotting near sensors, but same with my Roland cymbals, though the Lemon is easier to notice due to thinner rubber I guess, but can be offset with module settings. I'm a believer and am going to replace all my KVX cymbal pads with Lemon crashes, and possibly the hi hats too, when I get a chance and have the spare cash. Well done Lemon!

Will hold on to my new Roland cymbal pads as I don't know yet about durability, but seems to me there shouldn't be any, and if so, from what I hear and read, Lemon is a great customer focused company so far, much better than stories I've seen/read about Roland. Hopefully people won't try and take advantage of that.

Seller packaged securely and shipped fast, thank you and will be back!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great replacement for Roland triggers
Reviewed in the United States on February 25, 2024
Lemon has great triggers, and this one is no exception. Great material and looks. However I must say the edge trigger has some flaws and triggers sporadically... but beyond that it's an awesome ecymbal.
