This bass offers versatile tones and exceptional ease of play. After extensive experimentation, I’ve come to prefer its natural tone over the preamp-enhanced sound, so I’ll likely stick to the passive mode and leave the EQ knobs untouched (since they only affect the preamp settings). Out of the box, it required a pretty major setup (truss rod, action, intonation). Super fun to play!
