    The kit came complete, tuners were cheap but functional. The neck was good, but make sure that it settles to your region's weather. The tremolo that came with it works perfect with the rest of the kit. Once set up, this is a very good guitar. The body needs no paint, since it has a sealer coat, plus the grain is very nice. The pickguard only lines up with the drill guides, if you swap it you will need to change the guides around. Good for a beginner guitar, or a mod platform.

    Got the TL style and I am very happy! This is a great guitar DIY Kit!

    With this guitar I find the playability extremely amazing, sounds great with every single genre even metal! This guitars somehow has the abilities of playing like a humbucker a lot of times. The quality you receive is beyond insane with properly leveled frets, and along with its ease of setup it took me about 30 minutes to build with a screwdriver and a wrench. Appearance wise is wow, I can’t say I’m not in love with it as I don’t use my other guitars much anymore due to this one. Don’t even get me started again on the sound quality because holy heck is it just perfection. If you need a guitar that is cheap and amazing to play, this is your calling.

    It’s a great kit comes with everything you need . My only 2 complaints was the instructions was not clear with the plugs to the 3 way switch but it’s simple enough to figure out . And there is a coating on the face of the guitar with makes it hard to stain . because it’s a really thin piece of wood . I just took some really light sandpaper and was really careful not to blow through it. But the finished product came out awesome. If you like the color I used transtint real red ( 2 coats not diluted ) and left the back natural just put 2 coats of shellac.

    This was such a fun build for me. I wanted to try my hand at finishing a guitar. I went for a distressed look, which was a real challenge to do but was made easier with the quality of wood. It would have been a nice looking guitar had I just put it together, but it turned out to be a beautiful guitar with some hard work.

    The hardware and electronics aren't the best but I expected that. I'll upgrade them. But for now this has become my daily player. It sounds great despite the sub lar oickuos. It does fall out of tune more than I'd like but replacing the hardware will resolve that.

    I love the one piece mahogany body, arrived sanded and sealed, ready for finishing. Bridge included was fine but I upgraded to a modern 6-saddle bridge for easier setup. Electronics were easy to install, barely needed the manual. Upgraded strings and I replaced the string tree with a "triple-tree" but two are included.
    The body and included hardware are a great value. The neck is straight, smooth and fits perfectly. Pickups sound fine but I'm sure any upgrades will take this build to the next level. It has the Tele tone and it can only get better from there.

    The neck alone is nearly worth the price. Great modding platform (i only used the body, the neck, and the bridge plate from the kit). Finishes were really well done and only minor filing on a couple of fret ends. The techwood fingerboard is possibly one of my new favorites. Ive always been a rosewood/pao ferro/ebony fretboard guy and this techwood rates right up there with them so far.

    I am a complete novice and decided to work on this kit. I am having a lot of fun with of course some moments of ???? omg, but the kit is really well made and has all the components needed. It is a learning process - I am great with DIY and such but as I work on the strings and getting it set up, I look to various YouTube videos to help me with details on setting up and tuning the strings. For me, this learning process is so much fun and I can proudly say I put the strat kit together myself! Now that’s bragging rights in my friend circle! ????

    As for the Fesley customer service, they are absolutely fantastic! Liam from customer service emailed me prior to the kit arriving and has been helping me with answering all my questions - promptly and professionally. It has been so helpful! Thank you, Liam! He also answered my questions re staining the body, what type of stain and sealer, as well as what type of replacement strings.

    Additionally, Fesley continues to ask me for feedback re improving their kits. I’m noting down some areas that I would like to provide feedback/changes/improvements- as I stated I am a novice and since this is a kit that includes those of us new to the guitar world and wanting to expand our knowledge/experience, I think little touches such as color coding the strings, including a pick, expanding on their setup video, to name a few.

    I will post a follow up with images of my completed guitar! So excited to start tutorials and having fun!????

    Where to start...... This Fesley Guitar Kit is amazing for the price... This has to been the best LP kit out there.... Now remember this is a budget style guitar but its way better than that. I received the kit very quickly and it was packaged very well. Once I opened the kit I was amazed how nice it was. If you are looking to do your own first build or just want a very nice project blank this is the kit for you... Fesley contacted me just after I received it with questions on the kit and if I was pleased with it... Nice folks over there for sure... Now to the kit......! The neck was nice and the frets are like medium but still nice with no sharp frets.... The body is beautiful very little work to get ready for finish... The neck pocket was great don't need any shims fitment was nice.... The pickups and wiring is okay but if you change those out it makes the guitar even greater.... I highly recommend this kit.... Great job Fesley keep up the good work
