I couldn’t be happier with the Leo Jaymz White Set Neck Les Paul Bass! The craftsmanship is stunning, from the flawless white finish to the smooth, comfortable set neck that feels amazing to play. The build quality rivals instruments at a much higher price point, with solid hardware and an attention to detail that really stands out.

The sound is incredible – deep, rich tones with great sustain that work perfectly for any genre. Whether I'm playing classic rock or funk, this bass delivers. The pickups are surprisingly versatile, offering plenty of punch and clarity.

Overall, this bass exceeded my expectations in every way. It’s a true gem for anyone looking for a Les Paul-style bass at an unbeatable value. Highly recommend!

5.0 out of 5 stars Who woulda thunk it!!!

Can't believe the quality / set up of this import right out of the box. It was definitely set up before I received it by someone who knew what they were doing! Maybe the neck could use a tiny bit more relief, but it's actually fine the way it is. Frets are great, no level or side file needed. Action was set low, plays great , no buzzing or dropouts. Pickups are good...could I nit-pick on their sound? Maybe not Seymour Duncan's but they sound great through my bass rig with a little preamp tweaking.
Bass looks killer, slight finish haze on certain areas but really need the right light to see it.
I gotta say this is the best sub $150 bass I've ever played! Might get another!

I sent it straight to my tech changing all hardware to gold with seymour ducan humbluckers the way I see it why pay a 1000.00 or more when you can have a bass that's just as good for under 700.00 you can't go wrong with this it sounds great right out box

2.0 out of 5 stars Hit Or Miss Quality

Bought 2 of these. First one had serious neck bow and the electronics did not work. Second was much better, but a pound heavier, and a 1/2 inch piece of wood joined near the output jack where the grain and color did not match. 2 and 3 piece bodies are fine, but those pieces are not that small. BTW, another reviewer said this is a neck through bass. It is not. It is a set neck, painted to look like neck through, and you can feel the paint stripe edge where they probably taped it for painting.

3.0 out of 5 stars ups and downs

The ups are that is is a great design. Body is really close to a LP guitar's size with a full scale neck. Sound is good. No rough fret edges or high spots and a straight neck. A really cool bass overall.

The downs are that it has a lot of finish flaws. Dings, smudges under the clearcoat, orange peel on the neck finish, and polish residue and scratches. Almost like I got a used instrument. This color is unavailable anymore, and I don't like the other ones so no return option that works for me.

Happy overall but a bit disappointed. I do plan on a Leo Jaymz guitar in the future, but this is making me apprehensive.

4.0 out of 5 stars Well worth the money.

To start, it came out of the box with decent action. Just a slight adjustment to get rid of some fret buzz. It feels amazing in the hands. Near perfect neck. Decent tuners that keep a tune. Thru-body neck, with a nice satin-smooth finish. The H-H pickups are nice and bright and can get down to a nice deep roar. The black stripe which contrasts with the beautiful natural finish stands out. In the future, I hope Leo Jaymz company adds some resin/driftwood bodies like the guitar models. Honestly, that is the only way to improve on these. They can be compared to the $800 Ibanez Sr series bass. They are in my opinion just as good. Haven't gigged with it yet but will use it at rehearsal this weekend and see how it holds up. Leo Jaymz company, keep improving and making more bases. Try your Rick bass kits and making like 2 or 3 variations. They will sell out fast!!

Overall, it’s a wonderful bass. I’m writing this less than 24 hours of owning it, but at this very moment, the bass is more than I could ever ask for.

Let’s start with the packaging. They did a great job making sure it was safe. I show photos above on how it looked within the box. ALSO, I was not expecting gear to come along with it! In my case, it came with a bag (appear mainly for water, no padding), two Alan wrenches (one for the truss and one for the bridge), and a jack.

The bass itself feels wonderful. The strings are so nice; very playable and not sharp at all. I was surprised at the tone of the pickups. In the video I show, I use a direct digital amp, so it’s the true sound of the pickups themselves with no pre or post-EQ. I’m glad I don’t have to replace them. The neck is very smooth to glide down and the frets don’t hurt the fingers.

Now for the iffy bits. The output is not as loud as I wish it could be. In the video above, I have it at max volume using only the knobs.

The action out of the box is pretty bad. I tried adjusting the bridge saddles, and that for sure helped. Next, I’ll be adjusting the truss rod, but i have to wait to get a screwdriver that will fit into the small ones up at the bottom of the headstock. Wish it would’ve come with one, even if it was cheap. Working to get the buzz out has been my issue for the past hour.

Overall, this is DEFINITELY worth buying and probably one of the best deals on Amazon if you can get it in time! I can’t find a LP style bass anywhere else. And this color too…really scratched an itch— I’ll give any updates if I find something new about it. Also, excuse my sloppy playing; I'm pretty new to the bass-

Pleasantly surprised by the quality.....better than any FenDer I've played that was under 1000$ You will need to adjust the action and truss rod and intonation, pick ups aren't the best but for the price point they are good. Oil the fretboard, mine was dry, otherwise just because it's Chinese made doesn't mean it's bad.
