My 14 yr old son wanted a guitar and amp for Christmas. When he opened the box the smile on his face was exactly what I had been waiting all holiday season to see! He loved the blue color. The kit comes with a backpack which is perfect for when he goes to play with his friends.
The amp is very small but perfect for where he is at this time. I love that he can play upstairs in his room and come down to let me hear his latest riff without the hassle of carrying heavy equipment around.

He said this guitar is reminiscent of a 1960's style guitar. The included tuners made setting it up very easy. The tuners were steady and smooth. Nothing was lacking in the accessories kit and for the beginner, it was more than enough. The picks can be found in the capo cleaning kit which can be difficult to find. There is a comprehensive review video of this package on YouTube that goes in depth into the capabilities of the set.
This is a great set with the only small negative being that the neck of the guitar could be more polished but that doesn't detract from the value and fun.
