The product is fine. Amazingly, no damage on transit regardless of how the box looked. The instrument was sold as new but was a return. It was obviously repackaged. Missing documentation, sufficient packaging and the supplimental Allen wrenches. I've bought plenty of instruments online and I know what that looks like.
This'll be my first and last instrument purchase on Amazon. It just goes through too many hands.
The bass should have been sold as used or a wharehouse deal. I almost sent it back, but like I said the bass "seems" undamaged, and playable. So it's got that going for it. If it wasn't for my gift card, I would just have gone music store direct. Live and learn.
