    The potentiometer in my Ray2 is better than those reviewed on YouTube.
    Perhaps the QC has improved?
    I am swapping out the unidentifiable yet functional strings for some Ernie Ball flat wounds (2805) as were used on the recent Joe Dart series.
    It's awesome to have a passive bass with a Sting Ray sound at an affordable price.
    I also love the orange finish!

    I'm extremely glad that Amazon.com had this electric bass guitar available on their website. The instrument play very well without the bells n' whistles that most bass players of this generation prefers. What I'm also happy about this instrument, that It doesn't need a battery because it's a passive instrument which for me is a huge plus. The bass guitar weight is light and it plays very well!
