    The Yamaha PSR-EW425 is the best $500 keyboard. It has everything you need to play music, including a microphone. Also, the 76 keys is a feature that other $500 keyboards do not have. The quality of the sounds is amazing. Nobody makes a better 76 key keyboard at this price and with these features. It does not have any faults. I like everything about this keyboard.

    As a non-musician adult trying to learn to play a keyboard I would say this is the best one to start on for the money. I love all the features of it right out of the box. Of course I had to buy a pedal, headphones, and microphone, but that was to be expected. Maybe experienced musicians would have a different opinion but I love it. I watched a lot of reviews on various keyboards before deciding on this one. I have no regrets or disappointments about it so far. Maybe as my skills improve I might moved up to a better model but for now it meets all of my expectations. Thanks Yamaha for this quality instrument!

    I'm a guitar player who has been taking piano for about a year, but wanted to get a device that would allow me to play both classical piano pieces and synth based pieces from Van Halen (Jump, Dreams, etc) depending on the mood. Hopefully this would inspire me to continue on with my lessons and that goal has certainly been accomplished. I'm picking up and playing this thing every day. The speakers sound great and I've already done recording and jam sessions with it pushing it to an amp that sounded great....super loud just the way I like it. The drum tracks are also helpful when playing alone. Still lots more to learn, but so far, it's been fantastic.

    If you want to write / play music, and you don't want to spend a lot of money, this is the keyboard for you. It is WONDERFUL!! The styles will give you an infinite number of ideas for your own songs. I never...almost never rate (because it will lead to social credit scoring the para$lTE$ believe), but I had to rate this in order to write this review. Buy it now. I did the research. You will not find a better deal under $1000 or more.

    I'm just starting out and this instrument is way ahead of my needs at this time; however, if I do get skilled enough to play with small groups of people, this keyboard will meet my needs for quite some time!
