I have learned how to breath and blow smoothly, and make some clear notes. If I ever learn to play I will move up to the 20$ wooden ones on here. Then go from there, that's why these are about the best student ones you can buy. Also these are not just cheap bendable light weight plastic, there well made and fit together tightly.
