Another item I bought for my autistic son and he loves it. Easy to play he figured it out right away. Its durable and requires batteries. He loves playing it and it sounds nice. Worth the money.

This kid Otamatone, well is loved so much! So fun, cute and if ya got talent!
You'll really have fun playing your favorite music and even if you're keyless like me , you'll still have fun! Smile and laugh and feel HaPpY! I love to shout out play Xena theme or oh play amazing grace and oh play melody x and WOW my son can play them all and pretty much everything in a lifetime of known notes. Super Fun!

 Have both of the deluxes. There both super cool to have in the collection and both amazing musical instruments. Had the white deluxe for over two years and recently got the black deluxe. Definitely fun and worth your time if you liked the original. (Would recommend the black one)

Son loved this instrument, but it only held his attention for a week or so. It now sits on a shelf getting dusty. I'd recommend saving a bit of money and buying the smaller version.

I purchased this for my son quite a long time ago but never reviewed it.

My son is very musically inclined (Viola, Piano..etc) and still to this day, he still uses it from time to time. Of course, as the batteries get low, it makes some very warped sounds, lol. In hindsight after 4+ years, I would have to say this was a valued purchase.

I play piano and violin. I had seen the Theramin years ago and thought it was really a marvelous instrument
then I saw the Otamatone! I had to have it. I bought it and found it easy to learn
I thoroughly enjoy this instrument. I have fun with it. and I am entertaining friends and family with my new prowess at how to play wonderful little songs accompanied by my friend at the piano.
I Highly recommend this new experience in with a musical instrument.

This is a fun gadget, my son still plays it long after Xmas. He's 13 and loves to make annoying sounds to irritate me and freak the dog out, but he can play Mary Had a Little Lamb on it when he wants to.
I think this is very versatile for both unique actual music and sound affects as well, to use, like, on your YT channel if you have one.
