 This lil thing is awesome! Very soothing and totally changes a room. Didn’t expect it to be perfect, but it’s pretty darn close. The speaker paired to Bluetooth after a couple tries, and plays music decently. Not the loudest, but nice for lil background tunes. The remote lagged at first, but it got more responsive once I’d had it on for a bit. Make sure the tip of the remote is facing the sensor on the light. The colors are awesome, and there are 4 settings that cycle through them if you want some variety. Sleep timer works, and the light will flash to let you know it’s set. The light has to stay plugged in to a USB port, but I wonder if it could maintain power with a portable charger? ????‍♀️
Overall, would totally recommend! Don’t know how long it will last, but for $17, definitely worth it!

I got this Star Projector as a birthday gift for my dad, and it was a hit! The projector creates a stunning galaxy effect with stars and nebulae that completely transform any room. It’s perfect for setting a relaxing mood or even as a fun night light for kids.

This light is really cool. The effect it projects is really neat. Had only a couple issues with it. For one: if you’re using this for a kids night light, make sure to put it up in a slightly high place. The lasers that make the stars are quite bright so I put mine up a little higher than I usually would and told my kids not to look into it. Two, the remote kind of sucks. I have to push a button like 2-3 times for it to work. And three, the app it tells you to download so you can control with your phone (which I was stoked about) is absolutely awful. Doesn’t control anything. Other than that it’s a cool light and my kids are happy with it.

 This not only projects a super trippy, color changing, swirling galaxy, on the ENTIRE ceiling, but it also projects laser stars that you can set to fade on & off at the speed of your choosing, or keep them steady on. You can also change not only the color/color combinations, but you can also control the speed of the swirl & it’s brightness, all from an app on your smart phone, or the included remote control. After downloading the app, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that you can connect your phone via Bluetooth to it in order to play your favorite music. The sound quality is not going to win any awards, but it is shockingly good for how much this thing costs. I now know exactly what I am buying for half of the people on my Christmas list this year.

Our disabled child LOVES all things lights and sounds. We couldn't figure out the bluetooth part for music, but we have Alexa to play for us so it's fine! When I tell you...the light fills up the whole space you're in. We've even taken it outside and it's amazing out there, too. The app is easy to use, has a timer setting, etc. Not sure why the remote won't really work...maybe ours is a dud, but since the app works fine, it's great!

The light was smaller than I expected -- about 4 inches (10cm) across. Despite the size, the stars and the swirling light pattern is bright enough to clearly see in an average sized bedroom. The light dome is probably too bright to use as a night light, though, if you are thinking to let it run while sleeping at night.

If you are wanting to use this for music -- just don't. The speaker is horrible. Making the bluetooth connection with my phone and playing the music was easy, though.

The light has limited features, all of which are accessible with the remote or the app.
- There are four "modes" which mostly just control the transitions of the background colors (gradual or fast). These are controlled by the "Auto" buttons on the remote or the "LED strobe mode" button on the base.
- The stars have two modes: slow fade in / fade out or constant on. There is no other way to control the brightness of the stars.
- The color mode +/- buttons switch the background color from blue to red to green, etc.
- The motion stop/start button starts/stops the swirling of the background colors. The stars do not move.
- You can turn the background colors on/off or the stars on/off.
- The brightness +/- buttons controls the brightness of the background colors, not the stars. There is no way to control the brightness of the stars.

You pretty much have to point the remote directly at the IR sensor on the base for it to work. The app has pretty much the same features, but is probably easier to use.

I bought this to use as a nightlight in my 4 year olds room. He loves it and it is very pretty. The phone app didn't work at all though.
