The HOPWELL Steel Tongue Drum has been an incredible addition to my musical collection. The 13-inch, 15-note design offers a wide range of tones, and the D Major tuning provides a beautifully harmonious sound that’s perfect for both beginners and experienced players. The malachite green finish is stunning and gives the drum a unique, earthy look. It’s well-built, with a sturdy feel and smooth finish. The included music book is helpful, and the drum mallets produce a clear, resonant sound. The carry bag is a nice touch, making it easy to take this handpan drum anywhere. I'm a guitar player of 45 years, who developed a case of arthritis that prevents me from playing. I was poking around for an alternative, to keep my hand in, and keep those neural pathways active. I thought maybe a simple drum, and came across this instrument. It's got a good layout with a good selection of notes w/octaves. The lowest note has a bit of a thud to it. Still, if you hit it just right it will tone for you. Some of the notes ring and jump out at you. The remaining are resonant with a good presence. It shouldn't take a practiced musician long to get a handle on. People just looking for some easy to use, and delightful lowkey music making will love this one. I can already play Le Mer on mine! Only had it a week.

Product was received as described when indicated it would be delivered. Great quality……not completely certain that tone is exact because I’ve not previously owned a steel tongue drum but I feel this product is worth the money.

The sound is beautiful. It would be an improvement to have permanent markers on the keys, though, as small children can't resist peeling them off.

Purchased for my 2 grands, I had no idea what a hit this would be. Both under 4, and they are gentle and the sounds are so calming. I love this. Parent supervision is recommended, so sticks are not lost and drum isn’t dropped. Definitely a great purchase, great value, and pleasing to the ears!

I was shopping atound for one of these and chose this for the features and looks. I have nothing to compare it to for sound quality but am pleased with the tone. The song book was a bit disappointing with the song selection. I can always order another if I want. But it is fun to explore and create my own sound.
