About this item

Great Kids Drum Sets: These are great starter drums for kids to learn on. Smaller sized genuine hardwood shells and triple flanged hoops make this the perfect first set for a younger player. It includes everything needed to get off to a great start.
High Quality, Great Sound: The drum kit for kids not only looks shiny, vibrantly colored and glittery, but the kids drums are durably made. They are strong to sustain continuous play while producing a great sound
Drum Set Includes: The kid drum set comes with 1 bass drum (8”x13”, 4 lugs, bass drum foot pedal), 1 mounted tom drum (6”x8”, 4 lugs), 1 mounted snare drum (4”x10”, 4 lugs) and 1 cymbal (8” with cymbal arm)
Included classes and Music Accessories: In addition to the kids musical instruments, the drum kit comes with 40 Melodics classes with redeem code, a pair of wooden kids drumsticks so the playing can start right after setup. It also includes a round padded drum throne with adjustable height.
Easy To Assemble: To avoid damage to the well-crafted music instruments for kids during shipping, the drum sets & set components come unassembled. Easy-to-follow instructions are included. The set takes up very little space.

It looks like a real drum set, it is made well and just the right size for my 4 year old grandson. The sound is loud, beware. Was fairly easy to put together and is sturdy. The stool works perfect and it comes with a set of drum sticks. I’m happy with the set and glad I bought it!

Value for money. We loved it, and most importantly my 2.5 year old son loved it. It’s noisy tho, what you could expect for a real mini drum skit. Easy to assemble too, I toke me a good 30 min taking my time reading manual, I could have done it in 15. Size is adjustable till certain degree what you see on my pictures is probably the smallest size.

Enjoy the show. Video attached.

4.0 out of 5 stars Adult users, this review is for you

I'm an adult with a small recording studio room in my apartment. I wanted to get a basic, cheap, compact drumkit to practice & record demos with because I was not satisfied with the robotic sound of drum programs like Hydrogen in my music. Even with proper damping this isn't a pro quality kit, but if you are into raw, lo-fi music like I am, that isn't an issue.
This kit has a few kinks that need to be worked out for serious users, but it is a great starter kit for kids as is. I did not have any issues with the hardware like some other reviewers did. It was fairly easy to assemble. The kit fits into a corner of my small studio nicely - it takes up FAR less space than a full size set.
I ordered the green kit and it is a nice, metallic emerald green color with a hint of teal. It looks good. The color in the photos is accurate on both my computer monitor and phone screen.

The smaller drums are naturally quieter than larger ones - a bonus for apartment dewllers. I suggest damping the tom and snare, and stuffing a pillow or two inside the bass drum. Another consequence of their size is higher pitch.
The snare is adjustable not with a side lever, but a dial that you can turn to engage or disengage the snare mechanism. With the snare engaged, it is somewhat sizzly and weak (not very snappy) but sounds decent.
The 10" cymbal sounds a little bit better than using a frying pan or bucket lid, but not much. It is tinny and cheesy sounding, but that's to be expected at this price.

Recommendations for ADULT users; I suggest getting a larger drum throne, or even an adjustable office chair can substitute. The small stool is decent did support my 210 pound weight for a short time but it is very short and I suspect it may break under me since it's made for kids.
Also, the bass drum pedal is a VERY rough and squeaky contraption made of pressed sheet metal, with a nylon strap driving it rather than a chain. I don't mind the strap drive much, but the pedal does not want to sit level and there is too much resistance on the backstroke. The beater is okay. I recommend keeping in mind that you will probably want to replace the bass drum pedal with something affordable but of better quality.
I would also replace the cymbal with a better one, though the one included is not the worst I have heard. Wuhan cymbals are decent and affordable.
Most of the hardware seems solid enough. The only part that concerns me is the tube that connects to the tom. When the tom is rotated, you can feel the set screw scraping the tube and it may strip/wear the spot if rotated often.

I will update my review if I have any issues with this set, but overall, I like it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice Kit but WATCH THE VIDEOS for help setting it up
Reviewed in the United States on July 6, 2024
This is the perfect kit for beginners. The grandkids absolutely love it. I gave it 5 stars even though the instructions were not for this particular kit. Specifically, apparently there are two different kick drum styles. Both have different kick pedals, so that is why I am suggesting watching the videos to figure it out. They are not setup instructions, but you can see how the kick drum pedal is set up. The instructions that were included in the box were for the slip-in kick pedal, where ours came with a lock-down kick. Watching the videos helped me figure it out. And fortunately, I knew how to set up a drum kit, which made it easier.

We bought this for our son’s 2nd birthday and we are all obsessed! It is perfect size for him and very sturdy. It looks great and he enjoys playing on it! The seat is great too, it is low enough to the ground for him to be able to sit down on his own, but still reach the pedal for the bottom drum. I would definitely recommend this set to anyone who is in the market for a high quality drum set for your child. Even my 7 year old step son loves playing it. I can’t say enough good things about this set.

There are a ton of little drum sets on Amazon. None of the cheaper ones are worth the few bucks you save. This drum set is the perfect instrument for a little one. Rugged and fun. Easy to assemble too.

3.0 out of 5 stars Looks great, sounds ok
Reviewed in the United States on September 7, 2017
**My drumset arrived with deep indents to the snare and tom from someone playing it, and the kick drum head (logo side) had already been installed and improperly stretched (you're supposed to do it like a car's lug nuts, in a star pattern. The result was a drum head that could never be tight, a little floppy near 2 nuts). Clearly, this was a returned drumset that was resold**

For the price and all the positive reviews, I thought I'd be more impressed. The stool and paint finish were the most impressive aspect. The bass drum sounds boomy (more than usual), and you must add a pillow or towel to the inside of the kick drum head (like you would with most adult kick drums) to give it a thump and soak up the boom. I haven't done this yet, but I'm sure it'll improve the bass drum. I've owned a few adult drumsets, so perhaps I had unfair expectations. Maybe this is how all youth drum sets are.

The tom and snare are fine, sounds average for a cheaper drum. The cymbal is very small and has a very cheap tin-like, bright sound. I'll just replace it with a cheap larger one, no big deal.. Definitely needs a crash cymbal.

I bought a cheap-o department store drumset once before, and this was on par sound wise.. though the construction of the Mendini was much better overall.. Namely the throne. The paint has a hansom sparkle.

I dont think my 5 year old cared much about any of my concerns.. He loves the set. I'm removing a single star for the sound, and another for the condition in which it arrived in.
