5.0 out of 5 stars Hella worth it! Be mindful of mold though (update)
Reviewed in the United States on September 25, 2019
I got this for my birthday and I instantly fell in love! The tuner works! I tried to tune it with the tuner at first and then tested it against my phone tuner and when I was within 10 cents on either they both lit up green. It comes with everything as advertised (forgot to include the capo in the pic). I was worried the strap wouldn't be a button strap but it is so big yay! No place to store the picks on the strap like on some other designs but not bad. It may be short for some people though. I'm a small person and the strap is almost fully extended for me so be mindful of that. The micro fiber cloth is nice and so is everything else. Now, the bag, it's great. BUT! It did come with a few small mold spots on the back. Personally I don't really care because it's easy to wipe off but it's something I have to note and deduct a star for.

Now, the ukelele. The build quality is absolutely stunning! The blue stain is a beautiful turquoise blue with a nice satin finish. The fret markers seem to be wood inlay. The frets don't require any sanding at all. Tuning was very simple and surprisingly smooth. It's very easy on the fingers and I would say the action is nice and low (at least compared to my only other uke, I'm not an expert on this so keep that in mind). No fret buzz too. The sound is very warm and full, loud and blended sound. If you're looking for a solid concert uke with everything for a good price. Get this! Be mindful of the potential mold on the bag though.

I will have further updates if anything happens in the future

Update: it's only a few days from Dec. and I have a serious mold problem in my basement/room and I tend to keep my ukelele there in it's case because I use it, the mold on the bag has not grown back at all since I wiped it off back in September 23 I believe? Anyway I guess it wasn't mold on my bag but just dirt, so upping this to 5 stars

5.0 out of 5 stars Quality issues with this Enya Ukulele. Other Enya six were perfect
Reviewed in the United States on March 31, 2024
UPDATE-I replaced the first ukulele with another of the exact same model number and the second one is much better. It is up to the Enya standard that I have become accustomed to. This one is smooth and has no flaws. I recommend the brand and enjoy playing them very much. Great for beginners and experienced players alike.

ORIGINAL REVIEW
This is my seventh Enya ukulele and I have to say this is my first disappointment. The finish on this ukulele is just isn’t what the rest of them is like. The quality control on this one really missed. First off there are several spots where excessive glue was not wiped away or cleaned off when attaching the fret board to the body of the ukulele. More annoying than anything, but I see it every time I pick it up. The decorative decal around the sound hole is also not flush like their other ukuleles that I have received. This one feels like it will scratch off easily and is rough. The finish on the back of the body not good. It is spotty and the back is rough to the hand as if the finish was too thinly applied or not sanded well. All my other Enya mahogany ukuleles are very smooth to the touch. It is a bit disappointing to say the least. The last big one is that the first and second frets have edges that are sharp enough to nick your finger. They can be filed down I assume but I have never done that and don’t want to hurt the instrument. I have had frets stick out before but none that are this sharp and hurt. I might have to send this one back for these reasons and try again with another one. The really disappointing thing would be to have to wait again. This one was delayed in transit and took longer than I had planned for.

The overall kit though is as good as Enya does kits. The bag is great and well padded, the accessories are good but of course the picks are better to be thrown out. They could include felt picks that won’t hurt the ukulele as these are likely to. It would also be nice if the strap was more of a solid color like some of their other ukuleles come with. This is my fifth red white and blue one and it’s getting to get a little old. In the past the accessories either came in a fabric bag or a zippered nylon bag. These are now just presented in a plastic bag. Cost cutting, I’m sure but it was nicer to have the other bags to keep them all together when not in the gig bag. The capos have never been very good quality and have broken fairly fast, so that I knew before ordering this one.

This is a well priced and pretty ukulele kit for the most part. My Enya experiences have all been good up to this point and the instruments have held up very well. I tend to change the strings to Aquila stings because I like the sound better than the ones that they come with. If this is your first ukulele, you will have a great piece to start with and continue with for a long time. I’m hoping that their quality control is just an issue with this ukulele and that this isn’t something that has changed with them. I will update if I decide that these issues make me return and reorder.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Uke, especially on sale
Reviewed in the United States on March 5, 2022
The Uke arrived in excellent condition and came with tuner with battery, strap, cleaning cloth, pick, extra strings, and soft case. It's a beautiful mate blue. I was hoping it was shiny but it's still beautiful. The Uke was easy to tune (I followed Bernadette Teaches Music on YouTube for tuning instructions and music lessons), and I was able to play on day two after letting the instrument acclimate to the conditions where I live and a second tuning. It pretty much stays in tune each time I take it out to play. A few things to note: 1) The tuner has a very tiny screw that seals the battery compartment, so you'll need a precision screwdriver to close it; also, be careful not to lose that screw as it's nearly impossible to see. Luckily the seller included an extra screw because one screw fell out of the packaging, and it took me a day to find it. Also, make note of the watch battery type before sealing the battery compartment. 2) If you live in very dry conditions, you'll probably need a Ukulele humidifier. I got one here on Amazon for approximately $10. 3) Unlike in the comments, this Ukulele didn't come with a capo. This was no big deal since I'm a beginner and I haven't even needed to use one yet.

Overall, especially on sale, this is a beautiful, affordable starter Tenor Ukulele with beautiful sound. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.
