My son seldom utilizes a capo in his regular playing, as it is not typically required. However, when he does find the need, this capo has proven to be quite effective for him. His main use of a capo is when adjusting the truss rods on his guitars. Consequently, he keeps one in his gig bag for playing purposes and another in his travel tool box. Despite being an affordable item, we highly recommend these capos for their reliability and versatility.

It's not Kyser but it's also a fraction of the price. Certainly good enough. Spring tension is a bit higher than it needs to be.

We just bought my son a new guitar for his birthday, but it did not come with a capo. When I saw these, I loved the wood tone capo and the fact that I could get two for such a cheap price. I was skeptical about the quality, but I've used mine and it provides even pressure across the strings of my Taylor guitar. As a bonus the built in pick holder is ideal for gigging as I've flicked or broken picks before in shows without easy access to a replacement (I know I could buy something to hold my picks). This is just an added bonus, but appreciated. We'll see if it holds up to the quality of my Kyser capo. I had one that eventually broke when the spring snapped.

Very inexpensive capos. They work great. Like that it can be clipped to the headstock after using it. I also have a Shubb capo (very nice) but only downside is that I have to place it somewhere after removing it. It won't clip to the headstock.

It easy to put on the guitar, stays there securely, easy to move, or to take off.
The slot holds a guitar pick very securely.
The two colors mean you can match a wood guitar or a black guitar (like my carbon fiber acoustics).

The only thing is, sometimes it pushes the strings out of tune on some guitars. I'm still trying to figure out if I can reduce that with positioning or not (like, closer to the lower fret, closer to the higher fret, or right in the middle).

I assume this is due to the capo not having the same radius as the fretboard. On most guitars, it wasn't noticeable, or was fixable with a quick turn of the tuner. But it made one nylon string guitar so out of tune it was noticeable, and not easy to fix.

So I just won't use them on that guitar, I guess.

Overall, very happy I purchased these, did exactly what they said it would. Just that one small problem on just *one* of my guitars.
