    Perfect for me, an adult beginner. Surprisingly solid. Reasonable sound for me, a complete novice. I can't evaluate it as it might compare with a better grade recorder. For a few dollars, a risk-free musical investment.

    I bought this for my son and he loves it. There is no assembly required, it’s easy to play and has loud sound(that may be a pro or con). It’s worth the small amount of $.

    I bought a Yamaha at the same time as this because the Yamaha was more recommended but my son wanted blue. This one sounds identical to the Yamaha. If you look very very closely you can tell the Yamaha is a little tiny bit better made but honestly it doesn't matter. I would recommend this over the Yamaha in the future because it is cheaper and has better colors.
