Beautiful instrument, sturdy well made with no visible flaws. Trying to tighten the strings was difficult, one is not working right and feels like it will break if tighten more but if not it is to lose. Hoping to find someone that knows how to fix in order to be able to use it correctly. Otherwise, one string is lose and does not sound or work correctly. Other than that, came with everything just as described (Violin Kit for Beginners, Acoustic Violin with a Case, Solid wood Hand Made Violin Starter Kit with Violin Bow, Rosin, Shoulder Rest, Tuner, Extra Strings). I will be more satisfied once I get the issue resolved.

At 1st I thought everything about this kit was great! But when I went to tune it it has cheap crappy pegs that you have to try and jam into these holes and adjust to tune at the same time. You CANNOT make small adjustments to tune it correctly. I should have known by the price that it was going to be junk. The customer service was really good though

Very poor quality if I could give it 0 stars I would. Tensioners don’t work properly therefore tuning the violin is impossible. Very disappointing as i thought it would at least do the job for a beginner.

I got this for our family beginner, 8th grade, and she loved it! The case is extremely light yest durable and protects well. Its a soft, yet rigid case. Other school cases can be very heavy and cumbersome. Not this one - you forget youre carrying anything at all sometimes.
The only problem we had were the strings it came with - they popped immediately upon tuning it. The backup strings, too, so I would recommend buying replacement strings from a local music shop knowing they arent old and of better quality.
Aside from that, it plays and sounds well, it definitely looks cool, comes with preinstalled chin and installable shoulder rest, 2 bows, rosen, and a tuner (batteries included). Everything a beginner needs!
