I am a college student, and I have my cello on campus, but I didn't have an easy way to set up sheet music in my dorm. (Not a music major, just a well practiced hobby.) I narrowed down my options of portable, easy to use stands, and this won my favour. After ordering and receiving it, I'm even more pleased with my choice! It loosens and tightens with ease, comes apart and puts together well, and I'm a fan of the material. The extras are a nice touch in theory, but I probably won't use the music folder on account of its contours and odd flexibility. I'm using the clip for chip bags (which is an absolute win). I am excited to try out the phone stand for recordings, though!

I used the stand right away after getting it because parent weekend was happening on campus; I used it to play some old pieces I'd learned years ago while my mother accompanied me on piano. I didn't have to think about the stand once! It did its job, and it did it excellently. Definitely recommend; worth the money.

I purchased this music stand for my son and he loves it. Easy to adjust and wide enough to carry many music notes. It is light but sturdy. Good value for the money.

Bought the first one as a gift for a child in their school band. Wanted something much more stable than the standard "wire music stand" that are uber portable.

The first one has been used nearly daily for several years and is covered in stickers and sparkly dots and paint and nail polish and is not properly b-e-a-utiful and every bit as sturdy and useable as the day it was purchased.

The recipients younger sibling was stealing it in order to practice and so it was a no-brainer to buy another one.

What I really like:
- The top is mounts onto the stand with more than just a friction fit. It fits tightly but then there is a small thumb screw to lock it down.
- The extension loosens easily and then locks back down tightly.
- The base legs can be extended to different lengths. So the stand can have a narrow, but likely more tippy, leg extension. Or very wide and stable. On the carpet where this is used it was set in the middle on day one and has never been changed.
- It comes with a travel bag for portability. As far as I was told this has never been used as the stand stays at home.

This music stand is well made, has great finishing details, and is very useable. If one were to die in an accident, but that is the only way it would happen, I would replace it with the same thing without and question.

This isn't like the old school music stands we had as kids. It's fairly sturdy, though mine has a slight tip to it, that i have to keep straightening (or i would have given it 5 stars).

I like the springy arms. I can position them wherever i want over my music.

It's really great for holding thicker music books.

It comes with a folder and clip. I am using those. It also comes with a phone holder. I gave that to my daughter to attach to her drum set. It also comes with a carrying case which i think would be useful if you had to travel with it. I don't; so i can't attest to how long it would hold up.

I wish it went taller. You can see the height of it by my guitar. I think it's best for sitting on a stool or chair. If you stand and play, the bottom lines of music may be lower than you prefer. They are for me and I'm 5'-7".

Overall, I'd recommend this music stand.

I was looking for a good stand for my music notes, and this is perfect. You can adjust the height just the way you need it, and it's easy to do it. You can also use the 2 thin metal pieces to keep your book in place. I love using these pieces over the clip, because the metal pieces are connected to the stand, so you have an installed clip. I can also use this stand as a table for my lap top! This is a great feature, and I'm sure that you will also enjoy it. The stand isn't too heavy, yet it's sturdy enough to hold my lap top which is quite a heavy one. This stand is adjustable in every way that you can think of and need. Perfect product!!
