5.0 out of 5 stars Genuine Fender Quality. 250k best with passive pickups. Get 500k if you have active pickups

I built a 5 string bass with 2 bartolini baxis pickups. Each baxis goes to this blend pot and then to 2 outputs feeding the neck clean amp into 610hlf Ampeg and the bridge into a sansamp distorted 1x15.
Inspired by Chris Squire/Billy Sheenan, this blend knob allows onboard blending between the 2 sounds. Think Ricko sound!

I installed this on my fender jazz bass (passive) to eliminate the two separate volume controls. This is a Dual MN taper blend-balance with center detent. Also It's perfect for replacing pickup selector switch.

Works great. Good turning resistance. They are smaller in diameter than normal pots. Fits nicely in the output jack location on a o bass without routing the body

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice replacement part for a Fender bass

Note that this did not arrive as pictured with the Fender hang card, but it was the genuine Alpha part. The lower pot was reading about 50 Ohms at center detent but a quick adjustment with a 4mm hex wrench set it right. There’s a little nut on the back, apparently for this purpose. The shaft matches the CTS pots one generally finds in a Jazz Bass, so the knob from a volume pot will work fine if you’re converting from VVT to VBT.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not genuine.

This did not come in the Fender packaging as advertised, so I'm not going to risk putting this on my bass. It still feels good and has a hex adjustment at the bottom, so I'll probably use it for another project. -1 star for false advertising, -1 star for the inconvenience of driving to a store to buy the real thing.
