    These pens are great! I love the variety of colors they come in. They write smooth and last a long time! They are decently priced as well.

    I bought these pens for myself at my work, because even though I'm 61 my inner 13 yr old girl loves to write with colored ink! I've been swearing by Pilot G-2 for years and I still think they're great pens but they are kind of pricey and since my company was basically paying for my weird pen obsession I wanted to go with a less pricey option. Plus so many people were raving about these pens I wanted to see for myself.

    I have no idea why these are soooo fabulous to write with - but they are. There is just a smooth, gliding feel as the pen goes across the paper (and i'm at work, I'm not writing on Bristol paper - just economy writing pads!!) The ink colors are very deep but not screaming vibrant, which is also good when you're using these at work, there are some G-2s that are either too light or I fear are too cute and unprofessional and I don't bring those to work (I pay for the G-2s myself since they are rather expensive, not fair to make my company buy them!!)

    Anyway Gelocity: beautiful colors, smoooooth writing ink, they feel good in your hand, no uncomfortable ridges or edges...and they were only $8-something for a dozen different gel pens...you can't beat that price.

    I'm buying me a set for home use...I just hope they have sets of 24 or 36 colors cuz I do love my colored ink pens!! Nice job, Bic.

    These are amazing. This particular pen writes so smooth and dries so fast that it doesn't smear. Had to have the colorful ones because I love my black set so much.

    I can't say I'm a 'connoisseur' of pens, but I thought these were really great. The ink flows smoothly on the paper with no skips or clumps, which is important to me for my letter writing. The ball is seated inside the head perfectly, so there is no scratching of the pen against the paper. The colors are amazing, rich, and pretty accurate to the barrel.

    The only negative aspect I have to mention is the actual design of the pen barrel. There is a prominent ridge about a half-inch (maybe two cm?) from the tip. I think the designers meant it as a resting place for the fingers of 'normal' writers. Unfortunately, I find that I'm an outlier because I grip my pens closer to the tip - right where the ridge is, as a matter of fact. And I grip very tightly. As a result, the ridge digs deep into my finger when I write. But, the rest of the aspects of the pen - the smooth writing, the bold, rich lines, and the bright colors - make it worth ignoring the discomfort for a little while.

    I just wanted to let everyone know that if you grip your pen close to the tip (I mean, within about a 1/4 of an inch), these pens might be uncomfortable.

    seriously the best in the market. As a gel pen connoisseur, this beats Pilot G2 by a mile.
    -Pilot G2 smudges badly and if you drop it once, you're doomed!! Doesn't write the same and ink stops coming out.

    BIC Gelocity tips look like a ballpoint pen which I was a little skeptical at first but the ink comes out like gel pens but times 10 better and doesn't smudge or bleed!!! I wear my pen on my ear a lot and have dropped this numerous times... still writes like a charm.
