Out of all the boards available I chose this one because of the variation of questions on the board that would be easy and fun for the kiddos to answer, and cutest for us to remember in the future! My 4 year old loved answering them and drawing on the board. I also purchased liquid chalk markers to use with these boards and they were very easy to erase after use. Bold colors of print which were easy to see in photo and great value for price.

This chalkboard sign is very cute and colorful. The images are easy to read and most of them are clearly printed. one box on both sides did have faded imagery which is why I took off a star. At first I thought it was on purpose but the rest of the designs were not like that. Overall very cute and should last a while considering you use it twice a year.

This is a very nice board to help identify your child's first day of school. It is a little bigger than other similar boards and has a nice frame around it. The frame may turn out to be the weak spot, but it is on there pretty well. Te surface of the board is nice, the permanent printing applied well. I wrote on the board with both white and colored chalk. The red chalk was a little dark to show up, but using yellow showed very nicely. The board wiped clean easily with a tissue. I did not see any remnant of my writing, so it cleaned off well.

We have all tried to take first day of school pictures with our children. This sign board will help to easily identify the picture in years to come. I think it will be usable through maybe 3rd grade, so up to 4 years worth of first day. The one thing I would love to see added would be a place to write school name. If you plan it out, I think you might be able to write both the grade and school name under the "first day of" heading but you may have to write small.

The back of the board is set up to celebrate the last day of the school year. All in all, I think this is a very nice way to celebrate a child's first and last day of school. The board is well made and reasonably priced. The biggest challenge may be remembering where you stored it at when it is time to use. Don't wait until the day before to fill in the areas on the board if you are going to try to make it attractive and really fancy. But, if you goof it will clean off nicely.

I got this for my son who will be starting Pre-K this fall. I looked through a bunch of different designs before I decided on this one. This sign measures 14” x 11” and is double sided with one side designated for the FIRST day of school and the other side designated for the LAST day of school.

Unlike many other signs I’ve seen, this one has a wooden outer frame. The graphics are bright and the design is cute. I purchased some liquid chalk and was able to clean it off easily with a damp cloth. I can’t wait to use this for my son’s first day of Pre-K and the many years of school to come.

I love this school board and really love that it’s front and back for first and last days of school. Perfect for those fun pictures with your kids. I would recommend testing out your chalk markers in a corner first before filling out entire board to ensure that it will wipe off. Regular chalk is best.
