I used these in my classroom as student "mailboxes." I loved the black color, as it matched my classroom decor. Durable and sturdy for everyday use, it lasted for several years. They are a little more pricey than you could find at a local department store, but worth it for the color.

These file folders are easy to use, label snd fit perfectly in my file drawers. They are clean and new, in my favorite color. They look great

Let's be real. These are simply hanging file folders with one specific job and they do that job perfectly. On the other hand, I am a minimalist and being one partly comes from OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder). My OCD, and, thus, my minimalism, demands a certain aesthetic which is satisfied by a silvery gray color in white background. These are not silvery gray and they're darker in person than they appear in the marketing images. But, I hang them in the frosted white hanging file tote by Bright Room (available at ????), and together they achieve the aesthetic I require, so I'm quite pleased with them. Because there are so many, I had to buy two file totes but that's cool, and I really don't have a use for all of the file folders so I'll probably give one tote to my kid to organize his awesome hand sketches.

So why only 4 stars? They're rather pricey, I think. Two of those totes cost just slightly above what I paid for these file folders. And as I'm writing this review, Amazon has them on a limited time price for $8 less than the price I paid, so, yeah, that sours me a little. I had them on my Wish List for almost a year waiting for a price break ... that came WAY TOO LATE for me. ????
