This is the perfect light. I wish it could be brighter, at its highest it is bright but not made for a larger room. Love all the settings and the app. Easy to use and assemble. Love the way it looks. I love these products. Very sturdy.

++shipping was extraordinarily fast, I received the product within a few hours of ordering it (though I can’t promise you will have the same experience, maybe I was just lucky with my location)
+was not damaged during shipping
+presentation was straightforward and clean, no extra hoopla and also wasn’t so little to make me feel underwhelmed.
+package came with everything I needed to assemble, no additional tools required
Construction:
+simple manual with straightforward directions, it’s difficult to misinterpret the build process
-make sure screws are very tight and rail metal slots are aligned just right
+build time is about 5-10 minutes
+the provided screwdriver is magnetized
+comes with 2 extra screws
+the provided screws have pre-applied thread locker so they won’t come loose
-when connecting the LED strip to the base I had to use a screwdriver to shove the wires down, which felt slightly sketchy/was afraid of breaking it
Parts Quality:
+the silicone LED strip feels premium and has a satisfying non-intrusive-chemical smell, kinda made me feel proud (some people will understand what I mean) it’s a good time
+the metal housing has a durable paint and is just weighty enough to appreciate the sound they make when you clank them together ((before assembling) again, some people will appreciate))
-the part where the pole connects to the base feels like a weak spot, can easily be broken if you use too much leverage
Price:
- $100 is too much, I feel like this is worth roughly around $60 as of September 2024
GOVEE APP/user interface:
-it’s required to create an account using an email and password to enable GOVEE app features, I wish there was a Bluetooth only option
-it’s required to connect to your home internet and also asks for your current location “to confirm your internet” like Idek why that’s necessary. it’s a light. And I’m going to be moving soon anyway.
+the app is relatively creative, and diverse, and easy to work with
+many modes and customization options

+alexa compatible (though I don’t usually use Alexa)

Yeah, if you want a universal interface/app to control multiple devices from the same brand, this one is better than others I’ve tried out, I just wish I had more privacy when it came to my personal information. (But that’s just me)

Ehh idk I felt a little more guilty for spending so much, but ik I needed this for my new apartment 6.73/10 excited.
Did I have fun putting it together?
Yes. No complaints. Was easy, and I appreciated the extra care the company put into making sure I had what I needed to get it done in a timely manner
