These work really well!

I have a watchmakers bench set-up in my garage where I "tinker" with old pocket and wrist watches. The garage has a concrete floor (built in 1958 and smooth, dense and strong, not like the hard talcum powder consistency you get in new homes!). I use a desk chair with wheels at my bench which rolled great on the concrete. But after dropping a few watch parts on the concrete only to have them "ping" away, gone for ever, I opted to put a small area rug in front of the bench. This helped somewhat in slowing the disappearing parts, but was terrible to move the desk chair on. Listening to my complaints about the situation my wife did a search and found these chair mats that are a woven-polyester material that are backed with a substance that holds them in place. The mats come with a protective cover on the backing material so you can easily move and try them in different positions and then peel the cover off the back and lay it down, where they stick and stay put. Simply put these mats are great! They're very low-pile, but retain enough cushion to stop parts from bouncing around. The low-pile doesn't inhibit rolling my chair at all, and to top it off they're very easy to clean either with a vacuum or in my case a soft-bristled broom works perfect. I don't know why someone didn't come up with this idea years ago. So simple, so great!

Better than expected!

Our chairs were leaving black marks all over our tile floors in the office. I bought a set just to see how they would work because they seemed so cheap, I didn't think they would! We've had these down for a month now and they work great! They seem durable they lay flat and don't move around at all. Plus they are thin so the chairs roll smoothly over them without problems. Now we are buying them for the whole office!

It isn’t the best quality I’ve ever seen, but it definitely isn’t the worst. 4 stars because it was a hassle to iron. Like many have stated, JUST ROLL IT UP. No need at all to fold.

Descent quality, it will do the job. For how long? We shall see. I like that it isn’t too thick so we are stumbling over it since it’s in our kitchen. Don’t love that it’s “carpet” and not very washable (but I knew that going in). Looks nice in our beautiful kitchen. Easy to cut down to size, I used a regular scissors.

Easily moved and secured somewhere else, it isn’t sticky like tape, but tacky like an old used piece of tape. Worth the $16, making it disposable if I hate it.

Really like these floor mats! Needed floor mats for my home work area due to a rolling office chair. Struggled deciding which floor mats to buy because all of them had conflicting reviews. So glad I went with these! They came rolled up, so they were super easy to put down and there’s no wrinkles or creases. They stick to the floor but the adhesive is not super sticky - just enough to keep them in place, but not too much to have to worry about adhesive damaging the floor. Very sleek looking as well. Very satisfied.

Inconsistent packaging practices

I recent ordered three of these for my son’s computer desks. We have hardwood floors and wanted some protection. I ordered a two pack and a single. The two pack came rolled up and looks perfect. The single shipment came folded and looks awful. Will try to iron out these creases, but I am a bit concerned how the heat will impact the adhesive backing. Folding items like this should not be an option. I understand it results in a smaller box, but also comes with a headache for the buyer. I would have gladly paid a little more for proper packaging. The product itself looks great. Is true to size and color. No functional issues. But the absurd creases.

I just received my mats. I was so excited to place them, I got to it straight away. As soon as I opened the box, I could tell they were made of quality material that was going to withstand the everyday wear and tear that I would put on it. It is soft to the touch and easy to roll on. I don't have hardwood floors, but I use it on tile. It sticks well and doesn't come up when I roll around. I know that this product will last!

After reading the many positive reviews, I decided to try this mat. The carpet mat I needed to replace kept slipping around, bunching up, and tripping me. This trifold mat is great. It lies flat and it doesn't move around. And it's very easy to clean. I will likely buy another one for my wife's office.

Great alternative to area rug for office chair

This desk chair mat has been a really good upgrade from an area rug for the home office. It does still move around on the carpet but not too much. We will be adding some Never Curl corners to the edges to see if that helps. Really happy with the appearance. Desk chair rolls over it very nicely.
