Nice floor accent light but some drawbacks

Assembly is fairly easy, just slide the light sections together, use the included screws and allen wrench to secure and plug in. The bottom section is already attached to the base which is nice and heavy.
However this lamp is designed to face the wall, if you look at the pictures I included the plug fits into the base from the side facing the light. The light itself is very segmented, not smoothly flowing, which works well when facing into a wall but not facing outward.
The light is also rather thin compared to other floor accent lights I have seen. The remote works well and the APP allows for a large number of preset scenes.
Due to the segmented light effect, thinness of the light and placement restriction I really cannot recommend this light.
