Entry-Level Lighting

I bought this floor lamp when it was on sale. I needed something simple for my way too dark living room. This offered decent value and looks similar to a lamp I have in the bedroom. It's just a shade over 5' high and that works well as I'm a wheelchair user and can easily reach it.

I appreciated that this has a shade that is tan rather than the usual white. I also like that this has a pull chain to turn it on rather than the usual foot button. It does not have an actual light switch - only the chain (as pictured).

This was fairly easily to assemble. Directions provided were abysmal. I wasn't fond of the process of unrolling the shade and then assembling it. That gave it a look that makes it obvious this is a more entry-level floor lamp. It is cheap and it really kind of looks cheap.

This is reportedly compatible with smart devices, though I haven't explored it.

The black base is made of metal. The black poles to assemble the lamp are MUCH thinner than I expected. Sturdy is not a word I would use, though it stands up just fine. I'm not sure I could recommend this to a home with small children as the poles are light enough that you could pretty easily knock this over.

This uses E26 bulbs and a bulb is not included.

I like this lamp, though I like perhaps a little less than I expected. It's a solid entry-level floor lamp, however, that's how it's priced and that's what should be expected. It works perfectly fine for me, however, it's a little less sturdy than I'd hoped and a little thinner than I'd like.

That said, it's a solid entry-level floor lamp at a very affordable price.

A very comfy light

If you're anything like me (I hope you're not - seek help if you are), then you find your living room to better meet qualifications to be a deading room. No joy, no life, no love. Anyhow, you need a lamp, because you've blotted out the sun with your recluse blackout curtains and you know, sometimes a light is nice.

I purchased this along with two other types of lamps and found this to be the most comfy one. The light output is nice and the pull string reminds me of days gone by. Days where I wasn't riddled with sadness and abhorrence for myself. Days where lamps had pull cords.

Assembly was the hardest of the three, but by no means difficult. You may experience a little trouble getting the lamp shade on, but it's a pretty clever setup and shouldn't be bad. I think this light is wonderful and perfect - everything I could never be to for the now-lost love of my life.

I bought this for my daughters apartment. It replaced one we got at Target 6 months ago. The switch on that one stripped out so we couldn't turn it off. This one is great since it has a pull string to turn it on and off. It is small but she doesn't need it large. Works great for her space.

Good Product, a but some other issues

This is a decent stand up lamp I bought for near my door when I come inside. I like that it's fairly sturdy and everything is good quality. It took no extra tools.

What I don't like about it is the lamp shade fits on loosely even after I put on the stand and the light bulb, and I also don't like that it did take a bit of time to assemble and take off all the plastic and packaging materials.
