This lamp, which I'm using by my bed, looks good, was easy to put together and provides different lighting, bright, dimmed, white light, pale yellow light. Perfect for my uses. Great price, too.

I wish I could give this fantastic lamp more than the 5 well-deserved stars. It doesn't get any better than this. Perfectly packaged, super easy to assemble. Beautiful high-tech design. Different settings from cold to warm light. Dims by sliding a hand along the lamp shaft or with the remote. And by itself this can light up a large room.

I use this behind my chair in my living room to be able to read better, since the lamps I have on the end tables just don't cast enough light. It's very handy, and I like that I can adjust the brightness and the tone of the light. It's a good height and the flexible upper portion is again, what I wanted. It was extremely easy to put together. You do need 2 AAA batteries for the remote, and it's very handy that the remote can magnetically attach to the pole. Also, you can just touch the buttons on the pole to adjust the light if it's conveniently located for you to reach.

I got this for a reading light over my recliner and it works very well for that. The various settings can provide almost any intensity and color that you prefer for your personal use. I don't use the timer and some of the other features. The touch buttons on the post respond to the lightest touch so hopefully have minimal chance of mechanical failure like I have had over the years with various toggle or twist switches. It comes with a remote control, which I have never used, and likely never will use. That seems to be normal for nearly every electronic device these days, I suppose because they are so inexpensive to make. However, it is just another dead battery storage device for me, along with another dozen or so I have for other things. Remote controls are good for TVs or stereos or DVD players where you make adjustments frequently, but for me it is a waste just to turn something on or off a couple of times a day. While I have never used the remote, it appears to offer all the control features that are on the three buttons on the lamp post. One thing anyone should keep in mind is that LED lamps such as this are not replaceable. The lighting element will very gradually grow dimmer over the years, so slow as to be imperceptible. It is difficult to tell exactly how many years it will last before the light output is no longer acceptable for your application, but at that point it becomes a throw away item. The rated average life is specified as 50,000 hours but does not specify whether this is the 70% or 90% (or other) level. It is probably the L70 level, so if you use it 5 hours per day, you should theoretically get over 25 years of service. You can believe that if you want, but does suggest some other component will probably fail before the LED elements become too dim.

Less than $40, easy to put together. One hour delay shutoff. Lighting is great, but most of all.....the remote sticks to the lamp post!!!! Genius!!!

I craft, but also wanted a nice height lamp by my easy chair to read or just to have on. Whatever one needs a light for, this lamp has it! I like the "moonlight" mode as the light goes yellowish when I just want to sit and watch TV. The arm of the lamp also versatile as one can bend it around to one's use. Simply assembly and comes with a remote that has a magnet to stick on the light's pole. Best lamp I've ever bought!
