This lamp is really bright and great for multiple uses. I mostly use it for ambience and colors, but it can easily light up a room or area of a room like a regular lamp. It was super easy to assemble and connect. There are a lot of cool preset lighting scenes which work really well.

What I was looking for, and what I got were not the same thing in this case—It is really not a reading lamp. However, I'm not returning it!

It is sturdily made, will display just about any color of light you can imagine, and even has about a dozen different built-in moving color patterns. It is almost a party lamp for your basement bar or home theater. Better yet, I know a bunch of grandchildren who would love it for their room! If you choose this option, remember it should be placed out of harms way.

Easy to assemble though I recommend the YouTube video rather than the paper instructions. Then easy to set up via the Govee app. It is also straightforward to add it to HomeKit by scanning the tag on the cord from add accessory in the Home app. You can manage a great variety of effects with the Govee app. HomeKit support is more limited, but it does enable you to turn off/on the lamp and add it to automations which is what I cared about. Overall I am very happy with it for the price and would consider more Govee products if they add Matter support. I did consider the Hue floor lamp but the price was a turn off.

I needed a light for a small area and this fits perfectly. The only complaint is it will not connect to wifi. I followed the 15 minute instructions but it did not work. It does connect to my phone which is all i really need. I do love the color range.

Very versatile depending on what you wanna do in your room. Music mode is awesome, scenes are awesome, assembly is super easy took me like 20 mins. Colors are vivid. Well done Govee

I am glad to see Govee starting to support matter as this allows it to work with Apple Homekit, and the other platforms. This is much improved version 2 of the Floor Lamp. I love the base now has lights as well. The lights are brighter and there is more customization. I ended up ordering two of them and I am glad I did. You just cannot go wrong with these. If you are looking for light on each side of your TV the light up the wall and match what is on the screen. If you have the Govee TV setup this will allow you to expand the matching lighting.

 As someone who has all three models of Govee’s floor lamps in their home, I can safely say the upgrade in the Floor Lamp 2 exceeds expectations. The addition to the lights at the base is a nice feature that adds to the ambience of light in the room. The increase in Lumens to 1725 is very noticeable when comparing it to the original floor lamp that only has 1000. As I currently have the original Floor Lamp to the right of the new one in my video just how much more light it’s showing against the wall, along with being slightly taller than the original. Where the floor lamp 2 truly stands out is when combining it with the govee T2 LED light strip for your TV and Turing on the Dreamview feature which syncs all of your govee lights with what the camera sees on the screen. This makes for an extremely immersive viewing experience whether it be watching movies or playing video games, viewing entertainment just doesn’t feel the same without it on now. The lamp also comes with a remote where you can change the lights colors dim it or brighten it, make it warm or cool. That being said I recommend using the govee app so you can truly customize it your preferences. Overall Govee has nailed it again with this new model and you can’t go wrong adding this lamp to your entertainment room to get the most out of it.
