5.0 out of 5 stars NO BLEEDING - prefect for studying
Reviewed in the United States on July 5, 2024
Gah I love sharpies! I like how they feel when I write with them, I love the colors, but they always bleed through, so I can't use them! Not anymore! These things are amazing! The color selection is perfect, they don't bleed through, they write beautifully, and I feel like a successful adult when I use them haha! In this world, you have to take the little wins.

These make great gifts to anyone in academia, education, or studying! Also, very cute and affordable to pair with post-it notes, little coffee sachets, and a treat for a lil study pack for a friend during in finals.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good for coloring!

I bought these to color with but I can definitely see how versatile they can be with how pigmented yet pastel the colors are, they can be used as highlighters. Sharpie is always a good brand. These are water based! Not permanent ink like the original sharpie markers that are alcohol based. These have no smell and don’t bleed! I am coloring in the brand “ Brain Games color by number “ (butterfly) spiral coloring book and the pages are a little bit thicker than regular printer paper. ZERO bleed through which is fantastic for coloring books! These can bleed through if the paper is thin like in bibles or on regular lined paper but still good for note taking, highlighting and or coloring. The only dislike I have is the lines I see in coloring in larger pieces, but that comes with any colored markers to be honest. I will be buying the SNote duo markers next!

The packaging it came in isn’t bad but I will be buying a pencil case to hold them, the flimsy plastic case it came in is not my favorite.

5.0 out of 5 stars Colorful and Great! Highly Recommend.
Reviewed in the United States on August 22, 2023
Just got these and I am very happy with them. So far each color has come out clean, did not smudge my ink, and they work wonderfully in notebooks. These made a great addition to my stationary collection for my planners and main notebooks. The tips of the markers are firm. Not too dry nor over following with ink either.
I'm also odd and like to place labels on the sides of my markers to color-code in my notebooks. Happy to say that the plastic they're made out of takes to the adhesive just fine. :)
The packaging the markers come in make a neat container to store them away for later.

If you are looking to get a new set of colors to add some pop into your day to day of note taking, journaling, bullet journaling, or school defiantly try these. I've tired the Zebra ones similar to these and I am leaning more to these just for the convince of the selection of colors in one spot but also the chiseled tip of the marker too. The solidness makes it easier to glide along the page. They are fun to color in doodles on the sides of pages too. :p

Got them on sale too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Vibrant colors and long lasting

I was a little worried about these markers when I purchased, but all doubts are gone now. These amazing, vibrant colors are perfect for coloring, highlighting, and general use. They have no smell to them, which is perfect. They are also extremely durable. I’ve done the break test and I can’t get the tips to break yet. Coloring with them? They dry so fast! Journaling? No smears! They are overall amazing in performance and a great value for your money. Absolutely will purchase again.

4.0 out of 5 stars Comparing to Mildliners
Reviewed in the United States on January 13, 2023
Bought these because I have all the Mildliners and wanted to see how they compare

-I got the 36 pack of markers for $25.89 making them $0.72 a marker. Mildliners are $33.22 for 25, making them more expensive at $1.33 a marker. However, Mildliners are double sided which will be $0.67 a side.
-Both brand are WATER BASED so they WILL smudge when using a water based pens.
-These S-Note markers are more vibrant and less sheer the darker the color.
-Unlike Mildliners, these don't have "highlighter" colors such as yellow.
-Both can be seen from the backside of paper but the Sharpies bleed more.
-I used paper that can take quite a beating. The Mildliners started eating the paper at 11 coats, and bleed 21 coats in. The Sharpies bleed without eating the paper with 25 coats and would probably eat the paper with 30.
-Mildliners have smoother ink and these markers have more of a classic marker ink where it's very spotty. With the paper I used, it left a glossy texture in parts where the ink was thinker.
-Some of the tips weren't fully pushed in so I had to fix that by pushing them down myself. The tips themselves are softer and leave a thicker line compared to Mildliners hard tips.

Overall, they aren't bad but compared to the company that made mild highlights a thing, they don't compare. However, the color selection is broader which is a plus.

(NOTE: R#M# refer to Row and Marker. Front to back, left to right. They don't have color names where as Mildliners do.)

5.0 out of 5 stars if a sharpie and a highlighter had a baby

I appreciate that you can see what you're writing clearly if you choose to use these as markers (esp. if you make a couple passes on your work), as well as being able to highlight items.

5.0 out of 5 stars It does kinda bleed

There's a lot of colors! They're pretty and they highlight very well, but for some paper, it does bleed through so swatch the highlighters first before using it.
